100K Bitcoin - My POV

BTC at 100K - Today, history was made and Bitcoin was again the Protagonist.

The time it broke the 100K was at 430 am in Greece. I had a difficult sleep yesterday, I had this strange feeling. At 5 am, my cat woke up and wanted to go out. So I looked at the time on my mobile and suddenly saw all the notifications of BTC!

Of course I got up, made myself a coffee, and have not had some rest ever since.

I started with writing on inleo, on ecency waves, on peakd snaps. I remembered claiming my Zing .. and so my day started early and in an exciting way!

I have not yet realized what it really means and how this will affect our world.

This is one big achievement, it shows how user adoption grows and also the power, the strength and the affect of BTC in the economy - despite the volatility in its price. It has proven to be a great store of value so far, depending of course on when someone buys and sells.

I still remember when I first was discussing with my mother about this strange digital token that I had discovered (I think it was around 2015), but my old laptop was not strong enough to do the mining so I kept postponing learning more about it. Until, fast forward, I get to read and discover the Proof of Brain and created my account in 2017 (after spending lots of reading and studying and writing...)

Not long after that, I bought my first little piece of BTC

Time went by, I continued buying just a little every now and then and I started talking about it to people I know.

Noone was really interested in what I had to say.

A few years ago during the COVID pandemic, a past colleague asked me why I care about Bitcoin and warned me about losing money just as some of his friends had. I tried to talk to him more about it, he did not listen.

I wonder. Him and all the others who were not keen to learn, but were skeptical and negative from the start. What do they think about now?

I dont think they will ever really understand.
The price may face a big dip - correction soon.

They will again say I told you so, this was just a scam

And the only thing we need to do is just nod and walk away.

Never wake up someone who pretends to be asleep

So, what is next?

One thing is certain. More regulation, more taxation.
But also more adoption, greater developments and who knows?

Maybe some of the world problems can become smaller. (unbanked, hunger, etc)

This has been a long day and there will be plenty of time of more analysis

For now, I leave you this historical day with a lovely opposite sunset.
