I mentioned a few days ago how poor the Catizen airdop was, and I have moved on from that, but they listed today around $0.86, and the price quickly went up to $0.98, and then dipped to $0.92, so I decided to sell the small allocation I had, and the price went up to $1.2, and I regret not holding and potentially making more money.
The price has finally settled near $1.08. There are people who invested about $2,000 and made around $6,000. However, I did not have that much money to gamble, and the game's developers lied about the parameters that qualified you for the airdop.
They also allocated only 15% of the initial 43% they promised. So I put some money into the parameters that I thought might matter, but it did not pay off.
So, the CATI price is holding strong. I guess it is also because people who withdrew their tokens through Binance have yet to receive them. Another reason is that 15% of allocation rather than 43% is simply insufficient, and the CATI in circulation is insufficient to drive down the price of the coin in circulation.
However, 1 million CATI tokens have been staked and will be released on the 24th, and a significant number of those who staked will also sell. However, I believe the price of CATI will not fall below 0.92$ when people have finished selling their allocations.
Now we get to the good part.
I bought about $40 worth of Hive from my allocation, which is not much, and it will not scratch any surfaces. However, I started airdop hunting to earn money to buy some Hive; some of these projects require money to farm, while others are completely free. Others are outright scams that will waste your time and effort.
Catizen was not a scam; it was a waste of effort, but it was extremely profitable for those who invested money in the game's playable assets. This means that those who farmed without investing received nothing, which is very sad.

I am eagerly waiting for Hamster Kombat and Memefi to release their TGE. Other projects, such as DAWN and POCKETFI, are still futuristic and may take a long time to launch. Projects like Rocky Rabbit and Muskempire already appear to be scams, willing to farm their community for a large payout, and I will not actively participate again.
If Hamster lists with a good marketcap, the airdop might just be good, but I'm not expect anything much but then whatever happens, some percentage of that airdop will go into buying Hive.

Well, airdrop hunting could be profitable but for those who have the resources (social media followers inclusive). Perhaps a heads up for you, me, and every other person reading this, would airdrop hunting ever make one financially independent?
Got a few cati after I paid back the token investment of about 6 dolls, maybe the x 4 was a fair gamble as you put it.
Funny I didn't do Rocky Rabbit and X Empire despite the popularity among my followers.
Beyond my hunch, I guess extra realistic findings and social frenzy helped me on track a little to avoid some projects. Coupled with the fact that one can't do all the airdrops.
Hamster? Maybe it'll pay off but how much and to how many people? Few days to go with fingers crossed
Payable airdrops definitely pays back if you invest, although not all of them. I think Catizen prioritized those who actually paid in the game. It is unfair but unfortunately that's what it is.
Influencers actually makes the most money and that's unfair, but life is generally unfair. They grew their following on X and other places and now most of them are wealthy because of these airdop.
For me, I'll do the one I can and leave the rest, some of these money can help a person alleviate bills, it just takes more effort and some money for the ordinary person to earn more than another person.
I do agree with you brother. the efforts most times do not correlate with the allocations as the bigger fishes end up having the Lion
's share while majority keep groppling with left overs or maybe, those that have some capitals to invest.

Congrats... for a couple of things! First, because you manage to monetize your airdrop and wasn't a wasted time. Then, for picking a good-enough time to sell... it would have been much more painful to see it go down and your airdrop worth keep getting smaller and smaller. And finally, for buying a nice chunk of Hive with a portion of that airdrop.
Well I've been hunting a lot of airdop and it's important to me because it also takes away my mind from the market as well. Also my goal is to buy hive, unfortunately I haven't really hit the figure I want, to buy the amount of Hive I want, but this is actually a start.

It sucks that the airdrop didn't play out as you expected, but profit is profit. Good job getting it and I guess the exchange listing is making sure that it stays strong in price. Profit is profit so don't worry about the regrets. Nobody can tell where the price can go.
I'm just excited to be able to buy Hive, it's a win for me to be able to do that and it's a blessing. Although I expected much more but I guess we'll have to take what we get.
