In today's digital world, we rely on online platforms. We are getting education from educational platforms, earnings from earnings platforms and shopping from digital platforms. Technological advancement have enhanced individual lifestyle. These technological advancement and over reliance of individual on digital platforms comes with identity theft, on-line scams and cybercrimes.
In today's blog I am going to discuss one digital memory reform I want to save this year. Without much a do let's discuss in details 👇
We really on saving our memories in form of videoes, photos and documents on virtual spaces. It's better to call them digital memories.
By storing our personal life information we are allowing to third party to access our data.
Cybersecurity improvement is the olny way to save digital memory of individuals.

Stronger Data Protection Laws:

In my homeland Pakistan, Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016 (PECA) is the major law combating illegal hacking, cybercrimes, online scams and data and privacy protection. The main body is Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). The enforcement of Cyber laws is not much influential. Thousands of individuals are suffering from cybercrimes threat.
Government and law making bodies should enact stronger data protection laws. Government and tech companies should join their hands to secure the digital world.
Enhanced Cyber Education:
I invested $100 in a trading company during my college years, but the group turned out to be a fraud. The reason was lack of cyber education. It's only me who fell prey of fraudsters but thousands of individual who suffer from cybercrimes.
By embracing the technological advancement and digitalization we should focus of Cyber Education on all level in our school and colleges.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA):
"To protect your digital life, treat your passwords like your toothbrush: don’t let anyone else use it, and get a new one every six months." ~ Clifford Stoll
The feature I love about my gmail and digital bank account is two-step authentication. I give me a realization of security and strong protection over my data. That's how enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) we can reduce the chances of third party access to our data and personal information.
Final Thoughts :
In the digital era we should step back from relaying on digital spaces. But by adopting security measures like Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), providing cyber education and cyber law enforcement is the way to improve and strengthen cybersecurity.
By ensuring above-mentioned reforms we can insure that individual feel safe and secure on virtual spaces.
