The popular service Idealista has compiled a ranking of cities in Italy where the "express rental" phenomenon is prominent. This is based on the speed at which rental property listings are closed, particularly those that are withdrawn in less than 24 hours.
Growth in Express Rental Speed:
Milan is one of the leaders, with a 11% increase in the speed of rental closures.
Nationwide, the percentage of rental listings closed within 24 hours has decreased slightly, from 17% in 2023 to 16% in 2024.

Verbania (56%)
Belluno (50%)
These two cities have the highest percentages of express rentals.
