Let's just consider a division like 70/13 or 15/70. We may not be able to get such answers off hand but the answers are there. It is better we start off from this phase for better understanding of where we are heading to. It could be fractions or mixed fractions but there is a sure answer. Maybe I should just add that one can lie in words but not in numbers.
Your carelessness cannot outsmart numbers, I can say that from my own experiences and of course you have yours. It is like a mother waiting patiently to discipline a child in disobedience. How I used to dread those days when my Mom put my name on her discipline list. When she says she will beat you, indeed, ‘SHE WILL BEAT YOU’. No matter how you TRY to wander, distract or wave her away from that beating moment, sorry! I say again, Sorry!!.
Yes, we’ve been trained in the assumed ‘African way’ where parents will beat the hell out of you. It is something that is gradually fading off and in as much as I don't believe over beating a child is true discipline some parents don't even apply the ‘spare the rod and spoil the child’ even in its least form. We are in the process of seeing a generational human-bankruptcy. I mean, a time comes you will have to discipline a child (note, not battering or bullying) and later call him back to enlighten him about your actions/reactions.

Ok, let me head back to the main context, I was trying to create such similarities in scenarios here. We are going to enter into what I will call adulthood financial misbehaviors and the in-between discipline. The fact is, you don't need a calculator for a financial calculation to be accurate or in short any calculation. ALL we do is ‘find' because the answer is always ready-made. Have you ever put some bucks in your pocket and just kept on removing it? So how do you know you’ve exhausted your spendings? You choke your hands into the pocket and realise an empty set.
Spending is like a spell and one of the ways to break out of such a spell is to be very accountable. When I say being ‘very accountable’, I don't mean you doing the accounting but following it up. If you understand the preceding paragraph you will get more insight; numbers are self calculatory. How do I enter into debt? When I spend without getting the signals. Let's say my target was to spend $20 on miscellaneous things in a week and within two days I have spent $10 dollars already.

The only thing that can stop that overspending is an early retracing because you might not even know where and where has dipped into your pockets. If you don't admit numbers, you are already at a flawed stage. In the end, you will find yourself in a mess of debt and you will be wondering how come. That moment where you say, ‘this cannot be?’ but the calculator keeps showing the exact results and yes, ‘it has been’, you have a pile of rubble to climb out from.
To conclude, let me add,one of my targets has been the ‘operation clear bad debts’ after realizing there were some irrelevant habits in-between. NOW, I have to learn when to call it a day. It was something I had to finalize early yesterday morning. I had to rush in and follow up with some financial accountings so I know whether I am still on the positive track. I was in the process able to restrategize on how to keep all my spending low.
Do well not to be careless about your spending habits, figures will always pile up without your permission. What you are left to do is a follow up to avoid every bad spending habit.
