Opening My EOS Chests: Did I Get Something Nice?

It’s the end of the season again; time to open those loot chests that I have accumulated for many days. Sadly, I was only able to accumulate fifty-five (55) chests last season which was a lot less than the seventy-two (72) chests that I opened previously. So I expect that my reward to be greatly reduced unless I get lucky and pull a lot of SPS and/or a legendary card or two.

However, considering my luck, not to mention the nerf in the Silver league, it’s highly unlikely that I would be that lucky. Still, anything can happen so who knows, I might get really lucky this time, right? Anyway, enough with that, let’s get on with last season’s rewards.

Let’s start with the most expensive card that I managed to pull from the loot chests: a Gold Foil (GF) Vampire Bat x1. Value: $0.194.

I have a lot of copies of this card but this is my first gold foil version of it. To be honest, I rarely use this card in battle but that doesn’t mean that I don’t like it. In certain rule sets, this card can be very useful. Also, gold foil cards are always welcome no matter the rarity.

The next card on the list is an epic card: Tide Biter x1. Value: $0.115.

I have bought a copy of this card some time ago so that I could push it to level 3, unexpectedly, I was able to pull one today. Such bad timing. Oh well, I could just always sell the card so it’s not really a bad thing. Besides, epic cards are the 2nd highest rarity so pulling one is always nice.

The next card is another epic card: one of the newer reward cards, Revealer x1. Value: $0.113

I already have a level 2 copy of this card which means that I’m a copy closer to having a level 3 version of the Revealer. I’m still 4 cards short but I’m not really in a hurry to level it up which mean that I could wait till I pull more copies.

My next pull was an Exploding Rats x1, a rare, fire splinter card. Value: $0.019.

Exploding Rats is another card that I rarely use, and only during certain rule sets due to its low health and inability to attack from other positions beside the 1st position. That being said, when I am able to use it, it proves to be highly useful. So yeah, I like this card as well.

Okay, those are my rare pulls, now it’s time for common cards.

Let’s start with Pelacor Bandit x4 ($0.040), then, Pelacor Conjurer x1 ($0.011), Pelacor Mercenary x1 ($0.009), Venari Heatsmith x1 ($0.007), Vampire Bat x 1 ($0.007), Blood Maker x 1 ($0.007), Gargoya Lion x1 ($0.006), and Ever-Hungry Skull x 1 ($0.006).

Now that all of the cards have been listed, time for the other assets. Let’s start with the SPS. Unlike my previous EOS SPS rewards, this time’s SPS were very few, just 5.067 SPS valued at $0.364. Oh well, tough luck, I guess…

Next are Merits x71 which was valued at $0.071. After that are the potions: Alchemy Potion Charge(s) x16 and Legendary Potion Charge(s) x15 ($0.960), then lastly, the star of the show, the best of the bunch, a Chaos Legion pack x1 ($2.744).

The total value of my EOS rewards is $4.673, less than half of my previous EOS rewards. Overall, my EOS reward can be said to be decent. I mean, it could be worse. At the very least, I was able to pull a CL pack, a gold foil card, and two epic cards this time around. Let’s just hope that the next EOS would give me a nice surprise.
