That is really interesting. You know, I never really thought about ancient Japan having naval battles in the past, but I guess given their proximity to water and their geography, it only makes sense that they would be adept at seafaring.

Yep. If anyone ever asks you, that battle I mentioned (Dan-no-Ura) is the most famous one in Japanese history, referred to constantly for everything.
