El camino a los Oscar está cada vez mejor, el día de hoy tenemos una de las películas que más me llamaban la atención de este año, “Coda” que con su primicia que si bien en un primer momento se nota muy monótona, es de esas cintas que le dan el plus con elementos que cambian la trama totalmente y le dan ese toque, que toda historia que se aprecie debe tener, si bien esta película es un remake de la cinta original creada por el director francés Éric Lartigau llamada La familia Bélier, debo admitir que el primer contacto que tengo con esta historia es a través de la cinta americana, así que mis perspectiva y opinión será con esta primera película, aunque leyendo algunas comparaciones, esta versión marca bastante diferencias con la original creando su propio misticismo, así que sin mas nada que agregar comencemos con esta increíble reseña de esta película.

Como bien dije la historia de Coda, tiene una primicia simple, la cual es que su protagonista Ruby interpretada por “Emilia Jones”, se enfrasca al el deseo de ser una cantante y vivir de la música, pero tiene sus limitantes tantos económico, como una familia que no comprende sus sueños, hasta aquí todo muy común parecido a otros film, hasta que como bien dije se cambian pequeños elementos en la trama, principalmente una de las limitantes son que sus padres y su hermano, que los interpreta “Troy Kotsur, Daniel Durant y Marlee Matlinque” que son sordomudo y llevan una vida muy limitada por sus condiciones, pese a esto la familia trabaja como pescadores, mientras que ruby se ve en la obligación de ser su intérprete de cara al mundo, atando sus sueños y deseos a su familia, aquí es donde arranca esta bonita historia llena de superación familiar y de un mensaje para la inclusión de personas discapacitadas.

Esta película es hermosa de principio a fin, si bien esta cinta técnicamente no es la bomba cinematográficamente, y no cuenta con grandes planos y puesta escena, si cumple en este apartado, pero en lo que a mi respecta lo que más destaca son las actuaciones y una muy buen historia, que si lo piensas bien y lo coges con pinzas es una típica historia de American Idol, pero esta al contrario esta cargada con muchos matices y elementos que dan ese plus extra a la trama, llena de escenas increíble como parte del final, en donde la película nos muestra el mundo a través del cuerpo de nuestros protagonista sordos, en donde pueden ver que su hija está triunfando con su música pero ellos no pueden comprender lo que sucede y solo a través de las miradas y los sentimientos de las personan alrededor puede comprender lo que sucede en el momento, si bien en el cine la discapacidad siempre se ha tratado como un elemento estereotipado y hasta de cierta forma comédico, en los últimos años estos temas se han desmitificado, creando personajes con personalidades increíble que den juego a la trama principal de una historia hasta siendo protagonista de estos mundos, como lo pudo haber hecho Peter Dinklage en su papel de “Tyrion Lannister”.

Una historia que esta cargada de grandes elementos de humor y drama muy bien llevados, y con la presencia de actores que me dejaron maravillados con su papel, hay que destacar que la familia de Ruby son los que se comen la película si bien el hermano es de lo que menos destaca, si la combinación de los tres añaden ese dinamismo y diversión que posee esta cinta, si bien Jackie la madre de nuestra prota, quien fue interpretada por Marlee Matlin la cual ya cautico a la academia con su interpretación actoral, ganando el Oscar a mejor actriz en el año 86s, hace de nuevo una actuación increíble esta vez como aquella mujer sexi y divertida, a la vez de una madre protectora por demás con sus hijos; Pero para esta actuación es el padre para mi quien tiene todos los elogios en esta película, divertido, esperanzador, luchador, líder de una familia y empático, son en poca palabras lo que define la actuación de Troy Kotsur como nuestro querido Frank Rossi y además que junto a Ruby, protagonizan una de las escenas mas conmovedora del año que sin duda saltara las lágrimas hasta al más rudo de todos.

Mientras veía esta película no paraba de pensar en el hecho de que aun, a las personas discapacitadas no se le da el debido respeto y la clara inclusión que se necesita, durante toda la trama los padres y el hermano de Ruby se ven afectado por este estigma de la sociedad, haciendo imposible el hecho de meramente comunicarse con ellos, dejándome mucho que pensar con respecto a lo que estamos haciendo como sociedad para aprender a convivir con personas con este tipo de discapacidades y no solo con sordomudos, algo que debería hasta plantearse en la educación del mundo, en incluir materias que sea para la enseñanza del trato a personas con problemas, enseñar el lenguaje de señas, en fin un sinfín de soluciones que podemos plantear como sociedad que el hecho de dar materias innecesarias en los colegios.

Es hasta ahora mi película favorita para los premios de la academia, aun me quedan muchas cintas por ver y disfrutar, pero hasta ahora es la que encanto mi corazón, destacando todos sus actores y trama muy bien conseguido, si bien no es para nada perfecta, y quizás su protagonista pudo haber demostrado más, si todos estos elementos forman una película muy disfrutable, además de destacar la labor de un hispano, como el grandísimo Eugenio Derbez que si bien es un papel raro para lo que estamos acostumbrados, sin duda le da su toque humorístico y personal característico de este genio, por mi parte ha sido todo por hoy, nos vemos luego con mucho mas de este camino a los Oscar.

Oye esta película me recuerda mucho a una que vi, creo que era francesa pero tenia casi la misma historia, la hija era la única que hablaba y tenia un sueño que era ser cantante, y tuvo que luchar bastante para poder lograrlo, porque su familia dependía de ella para desenvolverse, es muy parecida, pero esta no la he visto, de hecho los padres de la chica se parecen a los que vi. Esa película me gusto muchisimo, tendría que ver esta a ver que tal es.
Sin duda te encantara esta película, y si de hecho lo comento en el post la película se llama la familia belier y es la misma trama de la chica que se quiere convertir en cantante, y la familia que tiene discapacidades auditivas, solo que por lo que he leído tiene sus diferencias marcadas.
