We all wanted story with happy endings, we love watching story when it comes to romance, comedy and sometimes horror. I appreciate those kind of movie, but all I really enjoy watching are those twisted or makes you feel uncomfortable especially when it comes to true to life movies. I love gore, horror and movies that makes me question the decisions of life of the characters, movies that makes other traumatized and sometimes I haunt down banned movies across the world from being too disturbing like Megan is missing, Poughkeepsie Tapes and even Serbian Film. I don’t recommend watching those films but here I’ll share with you what I watched recently.

Lilya a girl who was abandoned and neglected to people who supposed to be her family, she is young and naive and also have some friends who are not that good of an influence for her. She is 16 years old and has a good friend names Volodya, they fantasized about living a better life. In her journey, she ended up working on a brothel and become a prostitute for her to survive and there Volodya and Lilya met a guy and promised them a better life ahead but it took a sharp turn into something tragic.
This movie is like a circus kind of emotions, it’s a 10/10 for me because it ruined me emotionally and mentally when I watched it. Lilya is a resilient and a very strong girl but ended up too sad to imagine what she’s been through, the movie gives me some insights also about the other girls in out generation. The movie was released on 2002, the film quality is really a bit old but the story is raw and good. The movie is not an english language, it’s a Sweden or Russian one but it comes with a subtitle. The movie is great and makes you think how messed up others life is because this a true story, this movie is too good and makes you think twice about this one.
Why does good movies have to hurt so bad? I also like painfully beautiful movies as it warmth my heart and it is also a way for me to let go everything that hurts me.
Indeed, I always wanted those kind of movies!❤️❤️
