The movie centered around a girl who her mother got bitten by the infected when she was heavily pregnant and about to give birth. After Ellie’s mother gave birth to her she could notice the signs of the infection gradually taking over her so she asked her best friend to help her take care of her child and kill her before the infection completely takes over, that she may not be a danger to the child, Her Friend hesitated in killing her because she was her best friend but when she remembered what they were taught in camp and how Ellie’s mother has stated to become violent due to the infection she had no choice but to put her out of her misery. However, Ellie’s mother did not tell her friend that she was bitten before she went into labour, but she told her that she has already delivered the baby before she was bitten in order for Ellie to survive.

Ellie was sent to a camp and that’s where she grew up to a certain age, she had a friend who was always by her side, Ellie’s friend taught her everything including her stubbornness, Ellie grew up to be very brave, smart, intelligent and at same time very stubborn.
