When I started this movie with way lot of expectations, I was expecting some disappointment. But I was proven wrong.
The moment I heard "DARSHANA" I completely lost my mind, reason being the sync of the entire scene to the music, the character was just perfectly done.
Kudos to Director Writer Vineeth Srinivasan for amazingly putting forward such a simple, subtle beautiful story and making it look so pure that, probably every one who watched it, suggested it to others and many including myself Rewatched the movie in bits and pieces.
The Composition of this movie is the second X factor for its success. Each and every song has mesmerised all of us. By reintroducing the Casette, Music Cd concept, they did get back the retro style of enjoying songs.
Moving to the acting performance, while Pranav mohanlal nailed his role as the main protagonist. I was confused who exactly to adore more, Darshana who plays Darshana (sounds funny but it's a fact) or the role of Nitya played by Kalyani priyadarshan. Both did a spectacular job. Also not to forget two key roles, one by Ashwath lal who plays Antony and another by Kalesh Ramanand who plays Selva.
This story basically rotates around the student life of
Arun played by Pranav. It's almost a full circle, from his college life upto the time he becomes a father, this story gives you a glimpse of it all. Alot of thr youth and people in their mid 30s might relate to the movie very well. The romance, drama, aggression, seriousness, maturity, love...every emotion has been beautifully expressed.

All said and done, this is not just a one time watch. This is one of a kind, feel good movie with moment that will make you happy as well as bit sad at certain points. But its mostly the Genuineness of the characters and the music that makes this One of the best movie of the year.
Not a fan of drama as such, this one has my heart.
Just one negative point would be, the pace of the movie and the romance in it was rushed a bit. They would have built it better.
