Wild mushrooms are the best! I was lucky enough to get some Chanterelles a couple of weeks ago. I'm waiting now for spring to go and hunt Morels. The Chanties also went into a bowl of miso ramen. OMG, the flavor wild mushrooms add! They will forever spoil you.

Chanterelles are one of my favorites, they are plentiful here as well. Good luck on the morels, this past spring I only found the false morels (lots of them) which are technically edible but contain the hydrazine toxin so I avoided them. Sadly I only found a couple blonde morels that I left in place.
