Christmas belongs to the kids: My daughter and I less than a month before Santa Claus arrives
What is the main reason for celebrating Christmas? Have you spent time thinking about it? I have, and although I believe that there are noble motives such as togetherness, trust, family and good food, it is no less true that nothing would be the same without the children... If the decorations we see in homes, shopping centres, public parks, offices, etc., are inspired by and for the children of the world, then it would not be the same. Without that innocence, that clamour to see their dreams come true and for the figure of Father Christmas, it is hard to beat.
I am aware that it is the end of November? Technically, December has not yet arrived, but I am absolutely certain that in many parts of the world you can already feel the winds of the most beautiful time of the year. My little girl, with her sweet and noble heart, loves this last month of the year like nothing else. She is happy to help me paint the house with her grandparents, or help me decorate the windows 6 columns of our home with Christmas lights. Since October she has had her letter to Santa written, stamped and ready. And one, being a mother, notices how important it is to have faith and hope in the children.
They (children), better than anyone else, understand the value of being positive and human. We, the adults, see it in a different light as is evident. It is a month of extreme expenses, pressures at work and high inflammation; but everything is solved just by looking it in the face. Something similar happened to me yesterday. I had to do some shopping in my city centre, and I knew that the streets were filled with the magic of Christmas. So, I took her with me to accompany me on my errands. She loves to be by my side wherever I go, but I don't usually go out with her to do important things, and to see how her face could not hide the happiness at the sight of lights, decorations, songs, decorations; all to indicate that vien Santa is a blessing for the soul....
With almost 33 degrees at the time we left, in a country where she will never be able to see what Coca-Cola tells us about what Christmas is supposed to be, she is indifferent anyway. She is happy. She walks beside me and stares at the lights flickering to a tune she recognises and loves. ‘Mummy, everything you have done is very nice, I like it very much’. Several times she asked me to take pictures of us, shy as she is, she whispered her request.... She likes to keep her most beautiful memories in photographs, that touches me.
Although I was very busy, shopping here and there, checking my mobile phone and figuring out little by little the important things I had to do. And so, when you are a mother, no matter how many obligations you have, the happiness and well-being of our children is the most important thing, no matter the moment. In the middle of a Christmas decorated square, I fulfilled her request/wish. Pictures for her to keep that memory fresh in her mind. You know, these are advantages of the technology we have today, and for them it is part of everyday life. This story is just a foretaste of all the magic, good wishes and cool stuff that usually happens around this time of year. She, my daughter, is innocent and beautiful. And because she continues to be this happy and dreamy, I would give and will continue to give whatever I can. That is the mission of a mother, that is my wish.
What a sweet bonding time. Here in our place we can already feel Christmas as early as September. People started putting up decoration too, and playing some christmas songs. And its always the best when kids enjoy the moments especially kids always look forward for their Santa ❤️
She is my dearest love, and yes, I think wvey December she has this new faith about Santa's and Christmas as well. Thanks for stopping by
