La Casa de la Fresa is a tourist site in the state of Merida, characterized by selling the best strawberries with cream of the site, this is located exactly in Santo Domingo, Baho sector, Merida-Venezuela. And last Sunday from the city of Barinas by bus with my family we visited this site, being the first on the list of our tours. Leaving from Barinas it took us about 2 hours and a half to get to the site, after the bus was located in a good place to park we headed to this great restaurant. Right on the facade, although I could not capture it completely since there were some buses there, the moment you arrive you see a sign with its name and a big strawberry. As soon as you enter, your first sight is towards the people who attend the place, and because it is a tourist place you will find many people, in my case it was like that.

La Casa de la Fresa es un sitio turístico del estado Mérida, caracterizado por vender las mejores fresas con crema del sitio, este se encuentra situado exactamente en el Santo Domingo, sector el Baho, Mérida-Venezuela. Y el pasado domingo desde la ciudad de Barinas en bus junto a mi familia visitamos este sitio, siendo el primero en la lista de nuestro tours. Partiendo desde Barinas nos tomó llegar al sitio aproximadamente 2horas y media, luego que el bus se ubicará en un buen sitio para estacionarse nos dirigimos a este gran restaurante. Justo en la fachada aunque no pude capturarla completa puesto que había algunos autobuses allí, al momento en que llegas aprecias un letrero con su nombre y una gran fresa. Al instante de entrar tú primera vista es hacia las personas que atienden el lugar, y por ser un sitio turístico encontrarás muchas personas, en mi caso fue así.

After analyzing the menu we did not want to leave the place without trying the famous strawberries with cream, so my brother-in-law was in charge of buying one, and for my part only a hot chocolate since the trip from Barinas to this place, although short, the curves hit me hard and I did not want to eat much. La Casa de la Fresa, not only offers what its name says, but also cakes and a great variety of hot drinks, juices and soft drinks. On the first floor of the place there are many tables and also wooden shelves where you get a lot of typical sweets of this area, many carts and wooden airplanes.

Después de analizar el menú no queríamos irnos del sitio sin probar las famosas fresas con crema, así que mi cuñado se encargó de comprar una, y por mi parte solo un chocolate caliente ya que el viaje de Barinas a este lugar aunque corto las curvas me pegaron mucho y no quería comer gran cosa. La Casa de la Fresa, no solo ofrece tal cual lo que dice su nombre, además de ellos ofrece pasteles y gran variedad de bebidas calientes, jugos y refresco. En la planta baja del lugar están muchas mesas y también estantes de maderas los cuales consigues un sinfín de dulces típicos de esta zona, muchos carritos y aviones de madera.

After observing the first floor we decided to go to the next floor, which is all made of wood and all around there are large paintings, some of them referring to strawberries. This restaurant has a lot of space in which a large number of people will have enough space to sit, talk and have a nice time having breakfast. The place is very cozy and has a third floor with tables and chairs, that is, much more space for visitors.

Después de observar la planta baja decidimos ir al siguiente piso, el cual todo es de madera y alrededor se observan cuadros grandes algunos referentes a la fresa. Este restaurante tiene muchísimo espacio en el cual una gran cantidad de gente tendrá el espacio suficiente para sentarse, conversar y pasar un rato agradable desayunando. El lugar es muy acogedor a parte de contar con un tercer piso en el cual son puras mesas y sillas, es decir mucho más espacio para los visitantes.
