Hello, travel community! Vietnam is a coastal country on the west coast of the East Sea with a very important political and economic geography that not all countries have. With more than 3,260 km of coastline stretching from north to bottom, from Mong Cai in the north to Ha Tien in the southwest (not to mention the coastline of islands), Vietnam ranks 27th out of 157 coastal countries. islands and territories around the world. Along with the above) With 3,000 large and small islands, including Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes, Vietnam is considered as one of the countries with potential for tourism development and great advantages in sea and island resources. . Vietnam has 28 provinces and cities bordering the sea. Vietnam's waters belong to the East Sea, one of the busiest international maritime trade routes in the world, connecting the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean. The coast of Vietnam opens up in 3 directions east, south and southwest. Very convenient for international trade and maritime exchanges, economic integration. The sea and islands are not only a source of food and food for local people for many generations but also a special premise for the development of Vietnam. The development of important economic sectors such as fishing, oil, and gas, shipping, shipbuilding, tourism. ... Currently, the marine and coastal economy plays an extremely important role and contributes about 50% to the GDP of the whole country.

Through my introduction, people can see the most important importance of the sea for each country. I am a sea lover, I was born and raised in Da Nang city. This place is known as a coastal tourist city. Living with the sea, I realized the importance of the sea for the country. Vietnam is one of the countries with beautiful beaches and unspoiled islands. In today's blog, I will introduce to you an island located south of Vietnam. This island is called Tho Chu Island. Have you ever heard of "sea trips? Tho Chu archipelago is located in Tho Chu commune, Phu Quoc District, Kien Giang province. Tho Chu island is the largest island of this archipelago. Tho Chu island has natural features. The island's natural conditions are very suitable for tourism development. The ideal time to visit Tho Chu island is in the dry season from November. Until April next year, in the dry season, Tho Chu sea is very clear, the waves are moderate, it is sunny and dry, very suitable for swimming. In addition, the sea waves are very calm, there are no storms. It will be safer and less seasick. The reason why I say why to go backpacking to this island is that the island is located far from the mainland and it is very difficult for you to reach this island if you are a tourist. There are two ways for tourists to reach Tho Chu island, the first way is that you will go from the mainland of Rach Gia and you will be floating at sea for 16 hours, here sure is torture for those who suffer from seasickness. The second way to get to Tho Chu island is to move to Phu Quoc island and from Phu Quoc island you will spend 5 to 6 hours floating at sea. The distance from Phu Quoc to Tho Chu island will be shortened.

On Tho Chu island, there are four beaches including Ngu beach, East Beach, Mun beach, and Nhat beach. Bai Ngu and Bai Dong are the two largest beaches. When you come to Tho Chau and ask people which beach to swim in, they will show you, Bai Ngu. The seawater at Bai Ngu is clear and has little garbage. On the shore, many tree stumps are growing in the sea, which looks very impressive and full of life, this place has the largest seaport on the island, the scene of crowded boats passing one after another seems to be very bustling and full of life. . With the beauty of pristine beaches, soft coconut trees and the friendly smiles of fishermen, Tho Chu island is not as developed as other islands, this place is only for backpackers, to To reach this island, you will lose a lot of strength. Because the distance to the island is entirely by boat, traveling on a boat for a long time is extremely difficult, for those who are not used to sailing on the sea. Tho Chu Island is under the management of the military, so the place must have many limitations. Tho Chu Archipelago is favored by nature with fine white sand beaches stretching along the coast, sparkling clear blue sea-like pearls, pristine forests still intact. Tho Chu Island is considered a treasure of Kien Giang. On Tho Chu island, the largest beach is Bai Ngu, which is visited by most tourists. Here you can swim, visit the island's facilities. Fishing, seafood processing, learn about the life of the people in the fishing village. On the island there is a lighthouse with a height of 140m, you can enjoy the scenery of the island here... If you come between October and March of the lunar calendar, don't forget to visit Nhan Island to see how it is. Please. On the island of swallows, there are swallows nesting and laying eggs, in the afternoon you will have the opportunity to watch the beautiful sunset over the sea. On the island, you can stay at the border post. On Tho Chu island, there are very few homestays and motels, because the island is still very wild and has some restrictions, so you can camp on the island, every day. The place will give you different experiences. The people here are very warm, friendly, and extremely hospitable. You are always welcomed by the people here. You are like a child who has been away from home for many years and is returning to their hometown.

One thing to note when coming to this island to visit is that you need to apply for a permit to come to this island, prepare the necessary documents to enter the island. Tho Chu Archipelago is a special military zone managed by the Navy Region 5 of Military Region 9 and the Border Guard of Kien Giang province. To get to the island you need to apply for a permit from the unit before the trip. Photography is not allowed anywhere in the military area. It is necessary to observe or consult before taking pictures. Camping or bonfires are not allowed without permission. Don't go with too many people (more than 10 people). Due to many regulations, very few tourists choose this place as a tourist destination, and photos are limited. However, rest assured that if you follow the rules, everything will be fine. In addition, on the island, many soldiers are very friendly and approachable, he often helps others, so feel free to enjoy the trip.

Fascinating place. So many different shots of the seascape and landscape but yet all equally stunning. Top notch piece, my pleasure to send some extra support your way ;)

@tipu curate

Long time no see, Mr. @phortun. Thank you so much for your kind words about my post. I believe this island is the most unspoiled in Vietnam, based on a trip I took six years ago. It's wonderful that no one bothers the beaches on this island, have a nice day.

The first time I've heard about the island. It's definitely stunning. What a great trip and worth all the effort Boy!!

This is without a doubt my most difficult trip. The most difficult parts of the trip were some of the island's regulations and sailing for long periods of time. I wished for a sleeping pill as I sat on the train back to Rach Gia. Anyway, this island remains wild and beautiful, and I am eager to return.

🔆🏝🐚🌴🔆I'm left speechless by the beauty of your featured scenic beaches and seascape photography in Vietnam! @whynotcamp

Thank you! This is one of Vietnam's most pristine beaches; looking at the map, you can see how far this island is from the Vietnamese mainland. Have a nice day

Hình xuất sắc quá.

Dạ em cảm ơn anh kì, nếu đi Phú Quốc nên một lần đến hòn đảo này anh nhé

Đi xa thế hả e. A nhìn tưởng đi nước ngoài chứ, kiểu như Maldives.

This is probably one of the few cases where having a militarized zone is not a bad thing... since due to the fact that the access to the area is not so easy and you have to follow strict rules, this area is so well conserved and (still) not contaminated too much... I would love to visit it... who knows maybe one day
Thanks for sharing @whynotcamp and have a wonderful weekend

Thank you for reading my post; you are aware that this location is remote from the mainland. This island does not have an airport; to get there, you must take a 15-hour boat ride. For those who are experiencing it for the first time, this is extremely difficult. This island is a military zone, but you ask permission to visit. People in this town are friendly and welcoming. I hope you will come to my country one day.

Thanks for all the useful information @whynotcamp, I really appreciate it ... I am sure that one day I will come to Vietnam, I have seen too many amazing posts on Hive and so I am too curious to visit your country

Absolutely breath taking beautiful pictures

Thank a lot! @ricphy have a niceday :)

Amazing beachside views. They are so empty of people so you can really focus on the scenery and natural beauty of the beach. Thanks for these beautiful beaches.

This island is located far from the mainland, it is difficult to move to this island. Tourism is also not allowed on this island, I hope this island will have an airport as soon as possible. Thank you!
