This video was taken in January 2020.
In my previous video, I showed the night market in Luang Prabang. Now it's the day market's turn.
We woke up before sunrise for the day market. We also checked out the alms giving ceremony before this but we were disappointed because the flocks of tourists from arranged tours were disrespectful of the monks (I'll blog about this later).
After that, we went to the day market which was near the temples where we also had our breakfast. There sell all sorts of things from semi-precious stones to souvenirs you can take home. There's also a lot of fresh food fish from the Mekong river.
Enjoy watching :)
I've never made it across the Mekong, although friends of mine say that Laos is supposed to be the better Thailand.
As your pictures tell it is at least as beautiful
Thank you for watching! Laos is even better as you go farther to places like Muang Ngoi, away from the center. I recommend the Mekong river 2 days slow boat from Huay Xai (border to Thailand) to Luang Prabang when it's possible.
I hope to be able to do that sometime. Thanks for the idea.
