Travelling to Ladakh is among one of the best decision I have made and no amount of time is enough to explore the monasteries as well as glaciers here. In today's blog I'll share some of the pictures and places where I roamed around in Ladakh and @worldmappin has inspired me more, to write and give tough competition to my fellow travel bloggers in accordance with the ongoing #winterchallenge. And I'm so ready for it and kudos to the team for working so hard. The value first place is Lamayuru.

Magnificent Roads Of Ladakh

It was a beautiful day and sun was shining as bright as possible and I was driving through the difficult and beautiful roads of Ladakh. Our Are today's first job was Lamayuru village. The village is famous for the breath taking landscapes and monasteries.

Breathetaking Mountains

While we were on our way, we saw beautiful mountains and the view was Breathetaking. Driving hair doesn't feel Hectic a within every second, after every cuve the landscape and the beauty of mountains unfolds in front of you.

The The rocky terrain of the lumayuru area has erroded from eons, creating moon like surface or hills. Therefore , the loom yur is famous for the surreal landscape that resembles the surface of moon and the hill sail are known as lunar hills.

Moonlike Landscape

The most difficult thing to predict here is weather. Uh, you have to prepare yourself for extreme weather condition, just in case, so that you can survive there easily. During Cloudy weather the landscape get covered with the shadow of clouds and it looks the surreal.

Finally, we saw lamayuru village from a distance and it looked amazing. The village is located at the hilltop and it is in Kargil District. This village has historical significance and it is filled with ancient monasteries and it's you own unique cultural heritage.

The village is famous for monasteries , and it is believed that the monasteries here belonged to eleventh century. Among such monasteries Lamayuru monastery is one, Which is situated an altitude of three thousand five hundred meters , and it is believed to be home of two hundred monks. Religious festivals are celebrated here with lots of joy and happiness, the monks here are organize them with love respect and spirituality.

The beauty of lamayuru village left me in a but what came next was really amazing. This is a beautiful Buddhist temple near Walna village.
Located in the Ladhak region of india. This give overview about the Qalna village, which is a traditional Ladhaki village and despite being lots of explores and travellers this village is still a hidden gem which is unexpected. It's not that famous as it's remote and reaching here is task in itself.

Gateway to Dikshit Monestry

As I was time bound, i didn't got chance to get inside the gate and explore the monestry that this monestry is a spiritual hub and have newly 200 monks practicing Buddhism here. We were on our way to Chemrey Monestry and we say this gateway in between.

Finally, we reached.Add an altitude of 3600 m where Chemrey monastery is situated.* This monastery has preserved the artifacts As well as the buddhists sculpture. It is very famous for the beautiful paintings and for it's prayerhall. It's a perfect destination for those who wants to learn more about the Buddhist tradition,art, culture and history. It's perfect for adventure seekers as well.

And that's all about my recent visit to a place which is famous for huge glacier, breathtaking lakes, moonlike landscape, Buddhist artwork,cultura and traditional. I hope you enjoyed it and yes all the pictures are taken by me with my camera.
