Hello Hiver friends! Here I am again. How are you today? I hope you have a nice weekend with your family. The weekend is usually a time to rest and regain balance, after a busy week at work. But how to be able to comfortably relax and relieve stress in the hot sun and noisy traffic in Da Nang? Surely you will immediately think of a coffee shop, this is a destination chosen by many people to relax and relieve daily stress. A coffee shop is a favourite place to gather friends and date on weekends. Have you ever tasted the feeling of sitting at a coffee shop in the middle of majestic mountains? Fortunately, I found moments of peace and enjoyment at the cafe on the top of Hai Van mountain, the name of this cafe is called In The Clouds, this cafe is located right in the middle of the top of Hai Van pass. This is a place where you can immerse yourself in a quiet space and watch the clear blue sky, rolling hills, and beautiful beaches located at the foot of Hai Van mountain. This coffee shop is located between the top of Hai Van pass, this is the connection point between Da Nang city and Thua Thien Hue province. This coffee shop is also very easy to find, just go to the middle of Hai Van mountain, you will look to the left hand will have a lot of houses living, this coffee shop is located at the left end of the row of houses here. The shop is decorated quite simply with wooden tables and chairs and iron tables and chairs, like a popular coffee shop in Da Nang city. However, thanks to its beautiful location and very close proximity to the Hai Van Quan relic of the top of Hai Van pass, In The clouds coffee shop fully inherits the beauty of heaven and earth, making anyone who comes to Hai Van pass, wants to stop. foot here to enjoy the mountain scenery. Just sipping a cup of coffee, or a glass of beverage on a hot summer afternoon, while looking at the beauty of the mountains and forests here. Majestic high mountains surround this beautiful coffee shop. Come here, take a deep breath to feel the freshness and coolness of this place. A great place to relax at the weekend nothing to complain about, no noise, no smoke, just the sound of the wind.
About a week ago, during a weekend I had an article about Hai Van Quan relic. Then in today's article, I will write about a coffee shop located right next to Hai Van Quan monument, this may be the coffee shop that I am extremely impressed with and my favourite destination, on weekends and holidays. Why do I say this cafe is impressive, then we will start to learn and explore the Café here. To get to Café In The Clouds, you will follow Nguyen Tat Thanh street, then continue to Nguyen Van Cu Street. At the end of this road is the path to Hai Van pass, if you go from the centre of Da Nang city, it will take you about 45 minutes to reach the top of Hai Van pass, with a distance of 30km. If you go from the foot of Hai Van mountain, you will go about 11km to reach the top of the pass, the pass that leads you to the top of Hai Van mountain is always a favourite place for backpackers and tourists when coming to Da Nang city to travel. . Hai Van pass is known as one of the most beautiful passes in Vietnam, with impressive but no less dangerous sleeves. Going on this road, you have to be very attentive to the bends. On the day I went, at the bend near the top of Hai Van pass, there was a traffic accident that killed 2 people. So be careful with bends and steep slopes of the mountainside.
After a distance of 30km from the city centre, I arrived at In The Clouds coffee shop at 2 pm. On weekends, there are many options for this coffee shop as a gathering place with friends to enjoy coffee, some people choose for themselves camping sessions at the top of the mountain here. When you come to the Café here, you will meet a very special person. His name is Lai Thanh Ha is the owner of this cafe, but many people call him by the name Lai Phien Ha. Hai Van Quan relic, when looking everywhere, is wild mountains and rocks, every day this place is visited by more than hundreds of tourists, especially tourists when they come here every time they look for a toilet. there are not, it is these subtleties that have built a public toilet for tourists travelling long distances. He was the one who came up with the idea of building a public toilet for tourists. His wife vehemently protested and viewed him as a lunatic. Amidst the chaos of life, he was a lover of Poetry, making his wife angry all day, the two did not have the same opinion, leading to a divorce. After that, he spent a small part of his fortune, on Hai Van Peak, building a small house, thinking about how to do business and write poetry. He was also the first person to live on the top of Hai Van mountain. If you come to Hai Van Quan relic, you will be volunteered as a guide for free, if anyone wants to learn about the history of Hai Van Quan landscape, they can meet him and he will be the guide for all. all of you. After talking with him, I can feel that he is a person who loves the land here and it is he who built the cafe here. In front of the cafe is a shop selling jewellery sold by his daughter, pearl rings, and bracelets made of Non-Nuoc stone. More than two years of the epidemic when tourists rarely visit here, so these items are very few people to buy, and these jewellery items are left a lot in glass cabinets. The cafe parking garage, located next to the jewellery store, goes inside are cliffs covered with green moss. I took a picture of him in the green moss in front of his house and yard. The cafe here looks very simple, the price is also very affordable, giving a good view of the Hai Van mountain scenery. I ordered myself a strawberry yoghurt while waiting for water. I went around here to take pictures of the cafe here, you can see the coffee shop here is located in a very nice location. You can easily observe all the scenery below of Hai Van Pass, the winding passes winding the mountainside. After drinking water was brought out, I enjoyed relaxing moments at the cafe with an altitude of 700m above sea level.
Below are the pristine beaches, I used a telephoto lens. I can take very clear pictures of the beaches here, these beaches are located at the foot of Hai Van mountain, I can name the beaches in turn with names such as Bai Xoang, Lang Van, Hai Van Vien. Sin Beach is the most unspoiled beach and the most difficult to reach, as it is located north of the coast, getting there will take you a lot of time by walking. The most beautiful beach is Lang Van beach, this beach has streams flowing from the top of Hai Van mountain, formerly there was a village here, but now people no longer live here. Lang Van Beach is a favourite camping spot for young people in Da Nang. If Lang Van beach is the most beautiful spot, then Hai Van Vien beach is the beach with the easiest access among the beaches here. Camping here you will see a beautiful sunrise from below the sea. Zoom in and you can easily see all of Da Nang city, this lens is cheap. Image quality is also not impressive, today's weather conditions are also very bad, with many thin layers of fog outside the sea, so the image is not impressive.
When you come to this cafe, I am sure you will be guided by Mr Lai Thanh Ha to his garden of clouds. This garden was named Thanh garden by him, if you look at the right-hand side of the cafe, there will be a small path leading to the top of the mountain here. You can see his poems written on stone steles, with his love of the mountains and his passion for poetry, which made him decide to leave the city, to move to the top of the mountain. Customs vein. Everything from the path and bonsai here was built by his own hands. You're surprised when I say that, aren't you? I came here in 2014 when this place was still very wild. This house is only made for tourists to stop to drink water and go to the toilet to continue their journey. It was not until 2016 that he started to build the land here, and this garden is his cherished passion for many years of his youth. From the path to the flowers and trees, he planted and cared for it all over the top of this mountain. Thanh garden named after himself, on the top of Hai Van mountain, there will be rocks for visitors to rest and enjoy the view. The path is quite narrow and has a lot of bushes, the path is not too difficult, but you have to be very careful on the rocks here. On the top of Ai Van Quan, there will be a big stone. This is also the highest point of In The Clouds cafe, standing from here you can easily observe the whole pass. From the Hai Van Quan relic, the boundary of the city will be divided into two different cities. On the left is Hue city, on the right is the city of Da Nang. This is an interesting feature at the top of Hai Van mountain, from here you can easily see the Hai Van Quan relic, which has been seriously degraded over time. But shortly, this place will be restored and will be a tourist attraction, after the upcoming restoration construction period. Sitting here, I admire Mr Lai Thanh Ha. It is his love for mountains and forests that have made this place more beautiful than ever.
At the end of the afternoon, I said goodbye to him and began to return to the city. If you have the opportunity to come to the central strip of land when passing through Hai Van pass. You must definitely stop once on the top of Hai Van mountain and visit the cafe here, to be able to experience the beauty of Hai Van mountains and forests, you will have a great time here. Thank you to everyone who took the time to write my post. Wishing you all a nice and happy weekend.

a very beautiful place, it seems that there are a lot of visitors in the cafe
On weekends, a large number of tourists visit to drink coffee. Despite its remote location from the city center, I believe that many come here to unwind after a long week at work.
The place is so relaxing💙💙💙
Thank you my friend <3
Awesome post. These pics are to die for. BTW, what brand of camera do you use?
Thank you very much @nicholasrichards. I used a Sony A6300 with a SEL 18-200mm
My favorite place on weekends! Your photos are so impressive 😍
Thank you @babeltrips On weekends, there are a lot of Racing Boys on Hai Van Pass, thus going in the afternoon is dangerous.
Thank you very much!
