A Hidden Natural Spring In A Plantation

I like swimming but I have difficulty finding a place to swim around my house. That makes me often explore new places, maybe if I'm lucky I can find a comfortable place to swim.

It would be great if there was a natural bath that was not too far from my house. I would choose a natural bath compared to a swimming pool. Of course. The important reason is that swimming pools contain chemicals to keep the pool water suitable for use.

In this blog, I will share a place that I managed to explore. A natural bath that is not very popular because its location is quite remote.

1000012897.jpg

The name of this natural bath is "Pemandian Alam Wak Jowo". Wak Jowo means Uncle Jowo, Jowo is the name of the person who manages this place. More precisely, Wak Jowo is the legal owner of the land where this natural bath is located.

I followed Google Maps because many people have been to this natural bath. I used a motorbike because access to the natural bath is not very good.

1000012861.jpg
It rained last night and I was sure the roads would be muddy.

1000012860.jpg
When we almost arrive at the natural baths, we will be treated to views of rice fields and several other plants such as corn and cucumbers.

1000012857.jpg
Farmers were seen planting rice when I passed the road to this natural bath.

You can see the road I passed to the natural baths looks flooded with rainwater. So, be careful not to slip your vehicle.

1000012876.jpg
We will see oil palm plantations after we pass the rice fields. After a few moments passing the oil palm plantations, we will see a small gate to this natural bathing area.

1000012867.jpg
We can see several natural bathing areas from above or from the gate. Look, we can see how bright the water is in the pool there.

I can't wait to dive into the natural baths! Let me take you inside.

1000012894.jpg
To enter this natural bathing area, we have to pay IDR 5,000 or $0.34. I think it's very cheap because it's an effort to appreciate the families who take care of this bath.

1000012899.jpg
The surrounding area is quite clean and I'm very proud. Usually, bathing areas that have been visited by people in my area will have a lot of trash everywhere. Salute!

I asked a wife of the owner of this place who also sells food here. She explained that this natural bath originally came from a dig they did in the middle of a palm oil plantation.

1000012957.jpg
1000012886.jpg
She said that the spring that emerged formed a very clear pool. Then they dammed the pool on the side with sacks filled with sand.

THE FIRST POOL

There are several pools. The main natural bathing pool is not deep, only a meter. So it is suitable for those who cannot swim.

1000012960.jpg

1000012943.jpg

I still can't believe the water is this clear. We can see the reflection of the surroundings on the surface of the water.

While bathing we can look up which is filled with tall shady trees. Honestly, my heart is filled with gratitude when soaking and swimming in this natural bath. I feel very calm. Very peaceful. Grateful for this beautiful creation of God.

1000012946.jpg
As the owner of this place said that they received a great gift from God with the emergence of a natural spring in this place.

The water is very clear, I even tried to put water from this pool into a mineral water bottle. It's just as clear! That's why some people also call this place a mineral water pool because of its clarity.

THE SECOND POOL

1000012891.jpg

1000012919.jpg
Continuing to another area, the middle natural bathing pool is deeper than the first pool. 1.5 meters deep. The second natural bathing pool also looks wider.

1000012933.jpg

At the end of the pool, a water flow is made downwards. The water flow forms like a small waterfall that falls into another area.

THE THIRD POOL

1000012915.jpg
Another area is a pool that they just renovated. It looks formed by cement around the third pool.

1000012917.jpg
The third pool looks more interesting because there is a small waterfall above it.

1000012903.jpg

It's just that this third pool is 2 meters deep. So it must be used by people who can really swim.

1000012907.jpg

There is something interesting. Next to this third pool there is a river flow from another area. We can see the color of the river flow is very cloudy. Different from the bathing pool from a clear natural spring.

Fish Pond

1000012882.jpg
In addition to the pool area used for swimming, there is one pool that is only used for fish ponds and has water that is not too blue.

As an important note, come to this place in the morning which opens at 9 am. And come on weekdays.

1000012885.jpg

1000012962.jpg

For weekends it will be difficult to get clear water if there are many visitors.

Luckily I came on a weekday and could get an amazing view! Relax, calm yourself down for a moment from the hustle and bustle.

1000012961.jpg
At the end of the time before I went home I also enjoyed the coffee I bought from the shop owned by the owner of this place. Really delicious.

This natural spring looks really cool. Is it also popular on social media? I really hope not cause it's unfortunate if that place goes viral 😆

Still not yet. In fact, because the location is difficult to reach out just by motorcyle.

The owner also tell me, some mineral water company want to buy that land but glad the owner not want to sell or work for company.

I hope the natural spring will exist long time.
Thanks for stopping by @macchiata

ooh that's good to hear! I just hope it doesn't go viral since it's really cool.

You are very welcome @sobatkelana! it was well deserved. ☀️

The muddy escape and the trickling short waterfalls seem like the best perk. Topping with suck tropical vibes and a spot to swim. The natures pools with the clarity of the water and soon the pool with the cement boundary perfect for safety. Which of the 3 pools did you enjoy the most? Also kudos on having a yummy sip of the much tempting bean juice ✨☕️

Because I am not good at swim, I like the second pool. Suitable for me
Yeah tropical vibes with natur water. Different from general swimming pool
Thanks for sharing @coffeenlove

So beautiful sight of nature. Its nice to hear about the paid natural bath, the fish pool etc. The place surrounded by palm trees look beautiful.

The place is really good especially safety for the body because the water have no chemical things

This source sounds just great, looks like a big jacuzzi! The water is so clean that you want to jump into it! And the fact that it is not overcrowded with people is actually a rarity, because really there can be a paradise without a lot of people😄 - just perfect for relaxation😍
