Namaste 🙏
I hope you all are doing great!
Being in Spiti Valley taught me a lot of things. The thing which I learnt and related to the most, while being here was how easily we take things for granted. We live in a place where we are surrounded by comfortable things all around us, and we are so used to it that we don’t even think about how difficult it was a few hundred years back to survive.

It’s not just about survival, but it’s more about surviving in such harsh environment where people have been for a really long time before. This was a pathway which people used to take to go to different parts of Himalayas as there are a lot of ancient ministries and temples around here.

The, climate of this particular area is very dry and cold, not only dry and cold. The climate is in fact ruthless. While being there, I got to learn about how to survive in such cold and harsh conditions without dying.

There is death and there is a chance of a major accident on each step. Just look at these rocks and just imagine how dangerous it could be if anyone of these falls on to your face.

And just like that, while travelling and making our way through this ruthless environment, we came across this car, which was upside down because of a major accident. Just by seeing this, you can imagine how dangerous this place is. I’m sure the people who were in this car must have had a really serious injury or everyone died.

There was a kind of road blockage because of falling rocks there just after a couple kilometres, because of that there were a lot of vehicles which were in the middle of a traffic jam.

We came across people after a really long time, a couple hours to be very precise, and we haven’t seen anyone up until this. We were quite happy to see that they were other people also who were present there along with us.

In spite of, this place being so dangerous. It looks very beautiful at the same time as you can see in the photographs below the rocky mountains and the dry atmosphere looks very intimidating.

We have never seen such kind of dry desert in our entire life, and this was a very unique and special experience for all of us. The main part was being in the middle of a place where you are surrounded by peace and chaos at the same time.

That is it for today. I hope you like this one. Thank you for passing by.
Peace ☮️

It is a rustic road, but with care, you can enjoy a great travel experience with appropriate clothing for the cold. Being surrounded by beautiful and imposing arid green mountains is a magical gift from nature.
