Namaste 🙏
Hope you all are doing great!

As we move deeper into the valley, we come across these unusual formations on the mountains. These unusual formations are really unique as you can see. These are made in the mountain slopes and are one of a kind.

The cold desert atmosphere and the cold weather along with years of weathering from snow and extreme wind has led to the formation for such structures across centuries and millions of years. These are really rare and the sightings of these unusual formations has been astonishing.

We couldn’t help but capture the photos of these events on our smartphone and share them with you guys. Spiti Valley is one of a kind place which everyone should visit once in their lifetime.

As we moved in the deeper parts of the valley, we were now approximately near to our campsite where we had planned to stay. We moved towards Batal, we were able to see the people roaming around. The people mostly were shepherds and they had been doing clear out because of the season end.

The snow season was about to start and because of the heave snow and -30 C temperatures, it’s impossible to stay here in months of November to April.

As soon as we reached Batal, we came across this beautiful looking campsite. We decided to take a look around this place and find a camp in decent price.

This campsite of a campground from dreams. It was nestled in between the mountains across the valley and there were no other settlement near the campground. The very famous Chacha Chachi Dhaba of Batal was about 200m from here.

The views are just spectacular in here. Never have we seen such a beautiful campsite in any part of Himalayas before. It was quite empty at first when we visited there and we were not able to find anyone to talk about the prices and other amenities.

Upon further investigation, we found some people in the Kitchen area and finalised our stay for the night. We were quite thrilled to have found such beautiful place to stay for the night.

Here you can see how the camos looked from inside. It was quite warm and cozy with a lot of blankets and double layers of insulation so that it could withstand -10 C temperatures.

That is it for today.
Peace ☮️
