Hello Travelers! After exploring and enjoying the beautiful beach of La Vela de Coro in Falcón state, we followed a route that leads to Muaco, where we took a slight detour to Piedra de San Martín. The GPS wasn't much help, but in the end, we found one of the area's hidden natural gems.

Before reaching these rock formations, we had to descend for less than 10 minutes down small sandy mountains covered with varied vegetation. If you don't wear the right clothes, you can easily get scratched. There were several marked trails, so we chose the one that seemed safest. while the views of the sea and sky merging on the horizon were spectacular, and we could see the rocks up close.

Once we reached the shore, we realized that the entire journey and hike had been completely worth it. It is a geological miracle, and the best part is that it was so close to us. It must have taken hundreds or thousands of years of erosion for that rock to take on that shape, or rather those rocks, because there are several of them, albeit of different sizes and shapes.

We didn't know if the beach was suitable for swimming, as it was deserted and we were the only ones walking along it. What I could see clearly was that the shore had many rocks and there were few seashells among the sand, as well as a rusty sunken ship not far away, which had probably been stranded in the sea for more than 10 or 20 years.

We walked to the famous Piedra San Martín, with an altitude of approximately 10 or 15 meters. It is so striking with its vibrant brown color and even some small plants growing on its surface. As I mentioned, there are other smaller rock formations, but as a result of erosion, they decorate the shore of this area and make it a unique, beautiful natural and tourist attraction that I couldn't miss visiting.

¡Hola Viajeros!
