Its been awhile since my last update, got stocked up with workloads lately. Today, I am so ready to dive in and share with you my new travel blog post at one of the most breathtaking place in Cebu that I can highly recommend to you -

As we are bound to Alcoy, the scenic route along Cebu's southeastern coastline set the tone of the day. It was a perfect day to spend with family. This journey was planned between families and and we decided to stay overnight since the drive was quite long.
Upon arrival, we quickly found a shaded spot under a cluster of palm trees. Very cozy and perfect spot for relaxing.

My cousins wasted no time diving into the water, while the rest of us set up the grill for a classic seaside barbecue. You can really see on their happy faces that they enjoyed the water and the place. They had a lot of fun, playing along with the waves of the ocean. Seeing them makes me happy too, not just adults who needs this kind of trip also the little ones. 😊 They are just enjoying the moment while others are preparing for our lunch.

Since some were busy cooking and preparing for our lunch, we were assigned to watch over the kids in case of emergencies, like if they were swept away by the big waves. As the kids are enjoying their time, we also enjoyed seeing the beautiful scenery of the place and calming our minds. We're just so thankful that we got to have this kind of moment to cherish.

While the kids are playing, I also had fun taking pictures of them so they would have a memories of this place. It would be such a shame not to capture the happiness on their faces. They were having so much fun! Some were burying themselves in the sand, others were building sandcastles, and a few were writing and drawing in the sand.

After of almost an hour preparing the food, we start eating and taking a rest. Moments later, we decided to go for a swim. One jumped into the water first, and soon everyone followed, swimming one after another. We talked and teased each other while we are on the water, enjoying ourselves also. We checked in with each other, asking how life was going. Until we got tired and take a rest.

We found this spot that wasn't too exposed to the sun, sheltered by a small cluster of palm trees. We hung out here, feeling the waves gently wash our feet. The scenic view was so peaceful that it makes is sleepy. It was the perfect time to rest, as the place was so calm and relaxing. At night, the boys started drinking and gathered together. The girls also had our own little group and bonding session. We enjoyed some ladies' drinks since we don't drink alcohol and couldn't handle the hard drinks.

What I really waited for this trip. To witness the sunrise at the beach. It's very fulfilling and exciting for me. Just look how beautiful the sky is. The blue clouds, the little shade of red sky, and a very calm sea - so relaxing. It makes my heart so happy. 😍 I did prepare an alarm just to witness this amazing scenery.

As the sun begin to set, the kids didn't hesitate to go for a swim early in the morning because later we will be returning home. They cherished the moment that were still here. While adults are preparing breakfast for everyone.

After the unending swim, we cooled off in the water because we were starting to feel tired and could really feel the heat of the sun. So we took a little rest in the seashore. At this time, more people start arriving, and soon other groups came to swim as well.

After all the tiring escapade yet very fulfilling and enjoyable trip, we decided to go home already. So we cleaned our area, packed our things and ready to take off.
