Hello Pinmapple community! Here I am to tell us about a beautiful waterfall trek I did on 2 June with a group of friends, on the banks of a river called the Bidente, near the village of Santa Sofia.

Ciao community di Pinmapple! Eccomi qui a raccontarci di un bellissimo trekking con destinazione cascata che ho effettuato il 2 Giugno insieme ad un gruppo di amici, presso le rive di un fiume chiamato Bidente, vicino al paese Santa Sofia.

With my friends we set off from Cesena and drove about an hour to get to Santa Sofia, from here we drove another 15 minutes or so in the direction of the place called Isola.

Con i miei amici ci siamo avviati da Cesena e abbiamo percorso in macchina circa un'ora di strada per arrivare a Santa Sofia, da qui abbiamo proseguito ancora 15 minuti circa in direzione della località chiamata Isola.

From here we drove a little further on a narrow road, and then once parked, we walked up the river from point A to point B, until we reached our destination, a 'Puddle' with a waterfall where we could swim!

Da qui abbiamo proseguito ancora un po' con la macchina su una strada strerrata, e poi una volta parcheggiata, abbiamo risalito il fiume a piedi dal punto A al punto B, fino ad arrivare alla nostra destinazione, una "Pozza" con cascata dove poter fare il bagno!

As soon as we arrived, we first saw a beautiful waterfall hidden among the trees

Appena arrivati, per prima cosa abbiamo visto una splendida cascata nascosta tra gli alberi

And here are some photos I took during the walk.

Ed ecco alcune foto che ho fatto durante la camminata.

And finally, after about half an hour of walking, we reached the pool with the waterfall! From here there was also a liana from which I jumped in for a swim!

Ed infine, dopo circa mezzora di cammino, siamo giunti alla pozza con la cascata! Da qui c'era anche una liana da cui mi sono tuffata per fare il bagno!

I even set up my hammock to enjoy some shade and rest

Ho persino montato l'amaca per godermi un po' di ombra e riposo

And that's it, until the next trek!
