EL AVILA CARACAS
Hello friends of the hive! Today we are back to talk to you about the Avila mountain, or as they call it now Waraira Repano. As I told you in my previous post, I am trying to refocus while the situation in my country settles down.
The city of Caracas is in the shadow of this beautiful mountain, which has on one side the capital city of Venezuela and on the other the coastal state of La Guaira and serves as an entrance to Venezuela by air or sea.
As I mentioned the Avila is a beautiful mountain, which serves as a green lung to Caracas, it is also a recreation center for hikers and among the ways to visit it we have the cable car, with 4 x4 vehicles and as most people do walking its trails.
The cable car has its station in the area of Maripérez, it is a beautiful ride where from the heights you can see all of Caracas.
The station that serves as entrance to visitors, we got, restaurants, Andean sweets and the popular hot chocolate, selling flowers and some vegetables. At the top of the Avila is the Humboldt Hotel, which was closed for many years, and is now being remodeled and activated.

¡Hola amigos de la colmena! Hoy volvemos para hablarles del cerro el Ávila, o como lo llaman ahora Waraira Repano. Como les comente en mi publicación anterior, estoy tratando de volver a enfocarme mientras se acomoda la situación de mi país.
La ciudad de Caracas está a la sombra de esta montaña hermosa, la cual tiene de un lado a la Ciudad capital de Venezuela y del otro el estado costero de La Guaira y que sirve de entrada a Venezuela como vía aérea o marítima.
Como les comentaba el Ávila es una hermosa montaña, que sirve de pulmón vegetal a Caracas, también es centro de esparcimiento para excursionistas y entre sus formas de visitarlo tenemos el teleférico, con vehículos 4 x4 y como la hace la mayoría caminando sus veredas.
El teleférico tiene su estación en la zona de Maripérez, es un paseo hermoso donde desde las alturas puedes observar toda Caracas.
La estación que sirve de entrada a los visitantes, conseguimos, restaurantes, dulces andinos y el popular chocolate caliente, venta de flores y algunas hortalizas. En lo más alto del Ávila está el hotel Humboldt, el cual estuvo cerrado por muchos años, y que ya está siendo remodelado y activado.
