Ever since I arrived in the Green Lagoon, the tourist area of the Istrian peninsula in Croatia, I spend almost every day with my family at Lotosi beach. The hotel where we are staying has its own beach, but we prefer this one and it is not far away.
Along the way to the beach, we pass beautiful lianders and conifers that smell unique and specific to this area.
We found a short way through a complex of apartments, surrounded by coniferous forest. They are old apartments and not very attractive, but they are located in a nice place, surrounded by the beautiful scent of conifers and close to the beach.
And then you come to the place where paradise begins. It is marked with a sign that says Green Lagoon.
There is a long path that leads through a beautiful green area, surrounded by a forest on one side and the sea on the other.
We are usually bathing by the Oliveto cafe. It is a nice cafe that offers both food and drinks and the service is very good. You can rent sunbeds on the beach or you don't have to. There is a lot of natural shade, so you can sit wherever you want.
Lotosi beach in the Green Lagoon is the perfect destination for all those looking for a vacation in a natural environment with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable and active stay. You can rent a boat if you want and sail along the entire Istrian coast. It costs 55 euros per hour, but the price decreases for more hours. You can also rent a pedal boat and use other water attractions.
I liked walking along the coast the most. The climate is very pleasant. It is warm in the sun and fresh in the shade. This year, for the first time in 20 years, there is algae that slightly spoils the experience while you are bathing, but they say that they are healthy and make the skin young. Locals say that the algae appeared due to the high temperature of the water, which is warmer than ever this year.
However, Lotosi beach is one of the few where there was not a lot of algae. My kids enjoyed it, and so did we. If you find yourself in this place and you have children, this beach will be a great choice. 😊

I went in Croatia some years ago and I'll probably go back there this autumn, what a nice place you shared with us, Istria it's really a place full of wonderful beaches and sea.
I am also planning to travel to Croatia again at the beginning of October, but this time to Dalmatia. The entire coast is beautiful 😊
It's summer time! I love the clear water. I can't see such a kind here in my place hehe.. still need to travel far to see a clearwater beach.

The beach is clean and without waves, very good for taking children on holiday in the summer.
