¡Bienvenidos a mi blog! ♡

Welcome to my blog! ♡

Hello travelers, I hope everyone is doing great today✨.

Last weekend I was visiting, together with my family, the Eco Park and I was fascinated, so I want to show you how this great ride was.

I had long wanted to go back, as I had not been there since last year when Carla and Luis Manuel (my family from Uruguay) had come. Something I noticed, is that whenever we go, it is always in winter, just like this time, I had never come on such a nice day and luckily, this time we went, the day was cool and sunny compared to the last time, which allowed me to enjoy much more of the spaces and the great walks.

This place is a bit far from where we were located, we went from my sister's house, Alondra, by train to Chinatown and then we took a colectivo (bus) that dropped us off at Plaza Italia, near the Eco Park.

It was about 3 PM when we arrived. The entrance to the Park is free, when we arrived, the first thing we did was to go to the back, because there are most of the “exotic” animals, I say exotic because I had never seen them, in my country, Venezuela I had been to parks but there is usually not much diversity. So we started the grand tour from the end of the park to the beginning.

I must admit that this has been one of my favorite outings, because I am an animal lover and I was very excited every time I saw one of them, while my brothers and my son were like “Oh yes, how beautiful”, I couldn't believe my excitement, especially when I saw the giraffes and huge elephants.

We also saw flamingos, which are beautiful, I love their pink color. We also saw Chajás (Chauna torquata), I discovered a huge rodent similar to the chigüire (Capybaras or as they call them here, Capybaras) but this one is called "Mara ” (Dolichotis patagonum) and many other species.

We passed by the informative museums, where we saw a large stuffed Condor on display, this one is in danger of extinction and here there are programs for its conservation. I also had the opportunity to carry a huge ostrich egg.

People took food with them, and although it is forbidden to give it to the animals, you could see them with their bread, water, and so on. We did not lag and took some bills to snack on during the walk, although there were also several stalls where they sold food such as hot dogs, Chori breads, soft drinks, and so on. I only bought water because we were not very hungry, we had eaten before coming and with the bills we were fine.

I admit that we missed a large part of the tour, but this place is huge and, although we walked a lot and saw many things, we were already tired, so we decided to go back, but I am satisfied and happy to have been able to appreciate these animals.
