I live in a coastal city, Danang, Vietnam, with a coastline about 30km long. So fishing is one of the main occupations of the people here. We have a major fishing port called Tho Quang and many other small fishing ports along the coast. Tho Quang fishing port is the largest wholesale market for seafood in Da Nang. It not only gathers boats in Da Nang, but it is also the destination of many fishing boats of other provinces such as Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai.

Time is a big obstacle for those who want to visit this seafood market as it opens very early. And Tho Quang Fish Port Market is busiest from 3am to 6am when fishing boats arrive and many people come to buy the freshest seafood for distributing everywhere. So if you want to buy the cheapest and freshest seafood, you have to get up early. I will try to wake up early someday to show you how bustling this market is in the early morning.

Contrary to the bustling scene in the early morning, this place is truly peaceful at sunset. The boats are rested and maintained, and the fishermen also enjoy a break before going on a next fishing trip. Visiting here at the end of the day also helps me relax after a working day.
