Initially, my intention was to find and discover a new cloud hunting spot. But it seems to fail a bit, because I forgot to check the weather humidity from the night before. So from 4am, I moved to the outskirts of Da Lat city, where the mountains and low hills were still covered with forests. But I realized, without clouds, it's time to watch a beautiful sunrise, both of which have their own charm. My travel experience is not too different from many people in this community, Vietnamese people often call foreigners coming here to travel as "Tay Ba Lo" it is called like that because of the familiar image with a backpack on shoulder, and usually on foot or by motorbike.
And they often avoid the complex, tourist here. Maybe it's because it's too crowded and noisy, or the environment is too much concrete, sloppy, garbage... They often go to places where there are few people, wild or discover by themselves freely in their own style. me. But to many people around me, it is quite rare and strange to everyone here. It's just a small minority community. And even I feel different in that very minority. My country really has a lot of beauty and I want to exploit it. And watch my country from my point of view. Let's continue with the travel guide with me.
This mountain is not too high from the foot of the mountain next to the road surface. And the people around there call it the North Hill. It is not named on satellite maps because it is small and surrounded by many hills like that, like an archipelago seen from above. It is located next to the Lam Dong experience area and its East direction is mainly dense forest.
I named it Doi Hong because it is a pine hill, but on the top of the mountain there are a few dozen Da Lat persimmon trees. A typical fruit of this land.
From National Highway 27C, there are several trails for motorbikes and pedestrians, motorbikes and it helps me to go a further distance than walking. When the slope was too high, I left the car beside the pine tree and climbed to the top of the mountain. Because it was still quite dark and close to light when I left, I took this picture on the way back when it was in the best light.
The pinkish purple sky above the horizon signaled that today's dawn would have a good aura with eye-catching colors. The journey to climb it and occasionally turn around to watch the color of the sky change during the pauses to catch your breath. Pine trees are quite sparse and I choose to rest in open places with a view. The mountain is not high but extremely steep, I had to cling to the roots of some grass trees because of the feeling of wanting to turn my body upside down.
I reached the summit, but the sun had not yet appeared on the horizon, and I had time to enjoy the cool early morning air on the top of the mountain. But then the sun could not hide forever, and appeared could not be more round and brilliant. My phone cannot capture its true colors.
Especially the mountains and valleys in the distance have low clouds. But my eyes feel the most real and emotional. Especially when you are alone at the top of the mountain and nature blends around in a private way where there are campers and there will be garbage, cigarette butts, plastic bottles often.
I carry prepared snacks and fruit in my lightweight backpack and spend a lot of time in a hammock hooked up to the pine trees. I also spend more time walking around the peak area. I want to know how the three directions West, South, and North will have the view and view from the highest position. It's journey helped me find more of the beauty it has. Some brown and yellow khaki mushrooms abound, some pine mushrooms. The humidity on the top of the mountain is quite good and they are showing off. The size of a golden khaki mushroom is more than my palm. And it's probably pretty heavy. All of these mushrooms are edible but I have no need to cook them.
The cold feeling inside the warm rays of the sun is stimulating and addictive. I want to sunbathe like this, next to the birdsong and the pine forest in the wind.

It's very easy to find, but I recommend going your own way, finding your own mountain with independent judgment and direction.
