Unsere Reise auf die Canareninsel hat uns nicht nur auf die Insel selber geführt.
Über eine sehr zu empfehlende örtliche Tauschschule haben wir uns für einen Tauchausflug angemeldet.
Gehen sollte es in die Nähe des Oasis Parks, und doch logischerweise mehr an das Meer.
Our trip to the Canary Islands didn't just take us to the island itself.
We signed up for a diving trip through a highly recommended local exchange school.
We wanted to go near the Oasis Park, but logically more to the sea.
So wurden wir morgens früh in unserem Hotel abgeholt und zur Tauchschule gebracht. Falls jemand eine Empfehlung bekommen möchte kann ich gerne eine Aussprechen. Mit Acuarios Dive Center hatten wir eine wirklich gute Zeit!
Super Equipment und sehr kompetente Tauchbegleitung.
Von der Tauchschule aus ging es sofort zum Tauchspot - nach El puertito.
Leider konnte ich keine Bilder von dem Weg machen.
Wobei, ehrlicherweise ist eine Autobahn nicht sonderlich spektakulär.
Das sah dann doch wieder anders aus, als wir auf einen unbefestigten Weg gekommen sind. Schlaglöcher und dazwischen etwas plattgefahren trifft es eher.
Dieser Weg währte aber nicht lange, nur 2 Minuten Buckelpiste und wir waren am Meer.
Und der Spot ist traumhaft.
We were picked up from our hotel early in the morning and taken to the diving school. If anyone would like a recommendation, I would be happy to give one. We had a really good time with Acuarios Dive Center!
Great equipment and very competent dive guides.
From the diving school we went straight to the diving spot - El puertito.
Unfortunately I couldn't take any pictures of the way.
To be honest, a highway is not particularly spectacular.
But it was a different story when we came to a dirt road. Potholes and a bit of flattening in between is more like it.
But this road didn't last long, just 2 minutes on a mogul slope and we were at the sea.
And the spot is fantastic.
Wir sind natürlich zweitnah ins Wasser gegangen.
Das war angenehm warm und das Meer war recht ruhig.
Tauchtechnisch hat sich dieser Spot sehr gelohnt. Einfach, weil es etwas felsiger war, aber auch Phasen mit Sand vorhanden waren.
Normalerweise ist das türkise Wasser ja schön anzusehen, aber flaches Wasser und Sandboden sind dann doch eher langweilig.
Ein paar Felsen bieten dann doch mehr Potential.
Und so konnten wir tatsächlich auch einiges sehen. Fische, Seesterne und verschiedene andere Meerestiere. Einfach toll.

Of course, we went into the water twice.
It was pleasantly warm and the sea was quite calm.
In terms of diving, this spot was very worthwhile. Simply because it was a bit rockier, but there were also phases with sand.
Normally the turquoise water is nice to look at, but shallow water and a sandy bottom are rather boring.
A few rocks offer more potential.
And so we were actually able to see quite a bit. Fish, starfish and various other sea creatures. Simply fantastic.
We were superbly guided by the diving instructor!
Was mich besonders gefreut hat, am gesamten Ort konnte ich keinen Müll finden!
Kein Plastik an der Felsküste, kein Plastik im Wasser und alles wirkkte sehr sauber!
Wirklich, einfach toll.
Die Natur mag nicht so spektakulär sein wie in der Karibik, aber dafür sind die Kanaren definitiv eine sichere Bank. Und sauber!
Unter Strich war es ein toller Tauchgang! Wir waren ca 7 Meter Tief im Wasser. Bei Ebbe. Bei Flut wäre es vielleicht noch ein Meter mehr gewesen, aber das ist vollkommen egal. An der Natur ändert das garnichts.
Für jeden der den Ort einmal besuchen möchte, macht es!
Parkplätze gibt es genug und außer ein paar Tauchern haben wir dort den ganzen Tag nur zwei Camper gesehen.
Fuerteventura hat sich definitiv von seiner schönsten Seite gezeigt!
What I was particularly pleased about was that I couldn't find any garbage anywhere!
No plastic on the rocky coast, no plastic in the water and everything looked very clean!
Really, just great.
The nature may not be as spectacular as in the Caribbean, but the Canary Islands are definitely a safe bet. And clean!
All in all, it was a great dive! We were about 7 meters deep in the water. At low tide. At high tide it might have been a meter more, but that doesn't matter. It doesn't change anything about nature.
For anyone who wants to visit the place, go for it!
There are plenty of parking spaces and apart from a few divers, we only saw two campers there the whole day.
Fuerteventura has definitely shown itself from its most beautiful side!
