The sunscreen

She kept checking her phone and email, hoping someone would contact her. She knew that it would be an arduous task to fight a powerful company, but her suffering had to be addressed. That sunscreen was a mockery of people's good faith; its components were not only a fraud but a risk to skin health. Now it turns out that sunscreen is more dangerous than the sun itself.

She reported it by phone to the proper authorities and that got nowhere, they bought her inaction.

But she was willing to use other means to draw attention to them or to expose them, because although no one important received her at the complaints office, despite her demands, when she returned she saw that there were some strange men posted at the entrance to her building, and she assumed that that was why they were asking for her details, not to contact her for the application of a treatment that would reverse the damage, but to silence her.

She was now hiding in the neighboring building, where she was able to sneak in before being identified by them because she was wearing a hat and large sunglasses, but no one responded to her distress call. It seems that everyone fears reprisals or does not believe that such a famous brand has brought a new failed formula to the market, supposedly ecological, although the company says that it is not the product, is she because no one else has complained.

(End of five minutes)

She bore the brunt of this war for the sake of her case that she had started, a face in ruins, a face that she could not show to the sun because the extreme sensitivity she acquired made her a very green tomato just by receiving a direct ray of sunshine, a sort of Grinch, and to top it all off, she was treated like a madwoman.

Tomorrow she would go to the press if they did not answer her today, and she would take off her hat and glasses in front of the cameras for everyone to see.
