David appeared set to make a name in architecture right from his childhood. This could be seen when as a toddler, he started designing whatever came his mind with papers. Sometimes he used mud to mould houses, cars, animals and trains.
Whenever he moulded one of those houses, he'll tell mother, "That's the house we're going to live in future."
He'll allocate the rooms to every member of the family. The mother would just laugh it off saying she can't wait to pack into her own room.
As time went on, David gained admission into the university to study architecture after his secondary education. And as it turned out, he was such a good student in his course of study - architecture.
He might have forgotten his childhood toying with designing different objects, especially houses but, his mother still had a vivid picture of his instincts.
In his final year, the government planned to move the country's capital city to another location due to the reason of expansion difficulties in the old capital town. A competition was thrown open countrywide on a design for the presidential palace for the new capital city.
Everyone sent his entry including David. The panel of judges chose David's as the best. When he ran home to deliver the good news to his mother, she replied, " I'm just happy but, not particularly surprised because you've been a great architect right from your childhood."
I wonder if mother will ever move into the promissed house and have her own room.
Thanks for the good read.👍
Hahaha! To live in a toy house? That's a dream that'll never come true. Thanks for reading the story.
David was a great architect right from birth, that was the talent nature had given him and I'm not surprised on how he succeeded in his field of architecture
I'm equally not surprised. Thanks for your time in reading my post.
