really quite offensiveThis is my post for #freewriters 2562 prompt hosted by @mariannewest
If you own a company you have to file a Beneficial Ownership Information, aka BOI report.
If you don't file a Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) report, you could face significant penalties including daily civil fines of up to $500, and in more severe cases, criminal penalties like fines up to $10,000 and potential imprisonment for up to two years, especially if the failure to file is considered willful. https://www.google.com/search?q=what+happens+if+I+don%27t+a+file+boi+report
If you filed last year, you do not need to file this year. The problem comes when you can not remember if you filed it, I thought we did but he was not taking that as we did. He was getting so mad, even saying he will do away with the company if we could not get it filed or find out if we did it already.
He has been freaking out for several days because I can not remember if we filed last year and "they" do not make it easy to find if you filed or not.
I told my husband I would file it again, if I already filed, that should tell me. He said that he did not think I would be able to figure out the application and I felt that was really quite offensive, it is only a simple form and all I need to do is answer the questions and upload a copy of his driver's license. Just because he can not do things like that on the computer does not mean that I do not know how to do them.
I was almost finished with the application, I had just taken a picture of his license when he said, never mind, I found where it says we filed it.
I swear that man causes me so much stress when he does not need to do it.
But that is ok because he finds it really quite offensive that I can pet Rudy and he can not.
Every morning I am up first and give Rudy his two apple slices and pet him. This morning my husband woke first and when he tried to give Rudy a small carrot, Rudy attacked his hand, he ran up to my husband's hand and boxed him with his two front feet. I told him he might try giving him apple, but he said no I am his carrot person. I told him that I give Rudy both but he was not having it.
I cut two apple slices, I reach into Rudy's cage and he hops up to me, eats from my hand, and lets me pet him. Rudy loves me.

It's as if the local, state, and federal governments are conspiring to make it impossible for decent folks to just live their lives and do their jobs. Taxes, regulations, paperwork, and penalties threaten from every side. Meanwhile, inflation eats away at our savings and budget while trigger-happy geriatrics try to start new wars around the world.
I find the government to be really quite offensive.

Yes, husbands are quite capable of making extra work and stress for their wives. I'm glad you can pet Rudy! It must relieve a little stress.
