A Mini Christmas Happiness

Hi Guys, usually I do not celebrate Christmas since I follow Hinduism. But I do normally enjoy it with friends or family especially when we go to events with Christmas themes and songs around our city.

Last week I visited a hospital for my Mother in Law to check her eye sight. There was cute little Christmas tree, something like the image below.

My son who is almost 3 years old started watching the decorations and wanted to play with some of them but I didn't want him to ruin the arrangements as I knew how much hard work goes into setting everything up.

So today I went out and bought some items that will help me set up a small Christmas tree for my son. He'll be happy to play with it and I don't have to worry that I am hurting someone else's feelings/efforts and my kid will be happy. So overall a win-win.

These are the items that I bought as you can see in the first image on this post. Overall it barely costs like less than $2.

  • Tiny Christmas Tree
  • box decorations
  • assorted decorations (ball, star ...honestly I don't know the exact names)

I also bought two gifts for my Son. He loves cars so I bought a die cast 1:43 car and a go kart 1:43 toy. He already has enough car toys but he never seems to get bored of new ones. My wife might not enjoy this buy but oh well. I put my excellent wrapping skills (hides face with embarrassment) and packed the gifts like this. Hope my Son doesn't notice the awful work.

Anyway tomorrow I plan to leave office a bit early, around 4pm, usually I work till 6pm but yeah around these times we usually have less work loads so the bosses go a little easy on us. So I will start from my office city at 4pm and will arrive at a different city where my Son and Wife lives. My wife works there hence we stay separately for now ( a temporary thing).

Weather is expected to be warm tomorrow and since I leave early I am hoping to not get stuck in peak traffic. Usually at this season there is a lot of movement of people from one city to another.

So I hope all my tiny arrangements makes my Son happy. I can almost dream his happy face as we decorate the Christmas tree and he opens up his gifts.

Peace, Happy Christmas and Enjoy your Holidays,

Ashwin
