Carmesí — Hive

Después de más de una semana sin tener la oportunidad de tomar mi Tablet y dibujar hoy pude hacerlo, ha sido muy complicado por problemas tanto de salud como cuestión de tiempo que no me han permitido trabajar cómodamente, hoy a pesar de todo me sentía un poco mejor y logre terminar este retrato el cual me gustó mucho, decidí llamarlo carmesí ya que me encanta ese color un rojo intenso que aplique en la sangre saliendo como lagrimas de los ojos, cuando era pequeña tenia muchos colores y cada uno de ellos tenían nombres que jamás olvidare uno de ellos es este hermoso carmesí ya que era mi favorito en ese entonces. Quise realizar los ojos amarillos porque sentí que este dibujo tenía vibras un poco vampirescas y bueno… Espero que les guste.

After more than a week without having the opportunity to take my tablet and draw today I could do it, it has been very complicated due to health problems and time issues that have not allowed me to work comfortably, today despite everything I felt a little better and I managed to finish this portrait which I liked a lot, I decided to call it crimson (Carmesí in Spanish) because I love that color an intense red that I apply in the blood coming out as tears from the eyes, when I was little I had many colors and each one of them had names that I will never forget one of them is this beautiful crimson because it was my favorite at that time.
I wanted to make the yellow eyes because I felt that this drawing had a little vampire vibes and well... I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Realicé el boceto y comencé a aplicar color en el rostro, esta vez elegí tonalidades rosas algunas marrones y rojas, quise hacer un efecto de luz recto en el lado derecho del rostro asi que esa parte la deje con tonos un poco mas saturados, en una nueva capa añadí más colores dándole mejor forma a toda la piel, luego mezcle los colores dejando una piel visualmente mas suave pero al mismo tiempo con algo de textura, pinte el cabello con un color marrón.

I made the sketch and started to apply color on the face, this time I chose pink, some brown and red tones, I wanted to make a straight light effect on the right side of the face so I left that part with a little more saturated tones, in a new layer I added more colors giving better shape to all the skin, then I mixed the colors leaving a visually softer skin but at the same time with some texture, I painted the hair with a brown color.

Luego añadí un poco de luz al cabello con mechones mas claros, para el fondo elegí colores similares a los que utilice en la piel y dando brochazos con textura, luego pinte las cejas y pestañas y empecé a dibujar los rastros de sangre cayendo por los ojos, poco a poco fui intensificando este tono rojo hasta llegar a un rojo mas profundo, agregue luces en zonas que quería resaltar y finalmente edite la imagen a mi gusto dándole tonalidades un poquito más frías.

Then I added some light to the hair with lighter strands, for the background I chose colors similar to the ones I used on the skin and giving textured brush strokes, then I painted the eyebrows and eyelashes and began to draw the traces of blood falling from the eyes, little by little I intensified this red tone until I reached a deeper red, I added lights in areas that I wanted to highlight and finally I edited the image to my taste giving it a little cooler tones.
