Saludos amigos de #hive y #alienart, espero estén teniendo un maravilloso día, personalmente estoy muy contento de mostrarles esta ilustración que realice de una de mis series favoritas, dibujo en el que llevaba días trabajando, pero no había tenido la chance de terminar, y por fin lo he logrado. Heartstopper es una serie de la cual vi su primera temporada hace unos meses, y me pareció muy hermosa y orgánica, donde se tocan varios temas de una forma sutil y sin desviarse de la idea original de los volúmenes, y sin duda la segunda temporada fue mucho más increíble, además de las bellas escenas en las calles y museos en París, por eso decidí hacer esta ilustración basada en la segunda temporada.

Greetings friends of hive and alienart, I hope you are having a wonderful day, personally I am very happy to show you this illustration that I made of one of my favorite series, drawing in which I had been working for days, but had not had the chance to finish, and finally I have done it. Heartstopper is a series of which I saw its first season a few months ago, and I found it very beautiful and organic, where several themes are touched in a subtle way and without deviating from the original idea of the volumes, and certainly the second season was much more incredible, in addition to the beautiful scenes in the streets and museums in Paris, so I decided to do this illustration based on the second season.

Para esta ilustración decidí conservar mi estilo propio, haciendo un balance entre el realismo y el estilo de línea más al estilo manga, muy distintos a las caricaturas de estilo de Alice en los volúmenes. Para el fondo busque la referencia de sus hojas, las cuales aparecen en cada momento emocional de los personajes, además de usar la misma fuente de letra que se ven en las portadas de los volúmenes, obteniendo un fondo que al verlo se nota que es de Heartstopper. También use tonos para el fondo representativos de los personajes, como el amarillo para Charlie y el azul para Nick, siendo ambos unos tonos susves, como pastel.

For this illustration I decided to keep my own style, making a balance between realism and manga style line style, very different from the cartoon style of Alice in the volumes. For the background I looked for the reference of her leaves, which appear in every emotional moment of the characters, in addition to using the same font that you see on the covers of the volumes, obtaining a background that when you see it you can tell it's from Heartstopper. Also use tones for the background representative of the characters, such as yellow for Charlie and blue for Nick, both being soft, pastel-like tones.

Realice la base de ambos con el lápiz digital y el color azul, empezando por la base de Charlie y terminando con la de Nick. Después con el color rosado empecé a realizar las facciones, cabello y ropa.

Make the base of both with the digital pencil and the blue color, starting with Charlie's base and ending with Nick's base. Then with the pink color I started to make the features, hair and clothes.

Realice el trabajo de línea con la tinta dura y el color negro, después elimine las capas previas y procedí a realizar la base de color usando el rellenador.

I did the line work with the hard ink and the black color, then I removed the previous layers and proceeded to do the base color using the filler.

Comencé detallando la piel de los personajes usando las acuarelas y varios tonos, empezando por Charlie y terminando con Nick. Después procedí a detallar el cabello de Charlie usando tonos oscuros, y luego tonos semi oscuros y reflejos en el de Nick.

I started detailing the skin of the characters using the watercolors and various tones, starting with Charlie and ending with Nick. I then proceeded to detail Charlie's hair using dark tones, and then semi-dark tones and highlights on Nick's hair.

Luego procedí a detallar la ropa de ambos, comenzando por tonos oscuros y tonos más claros, después detalle el mapa, morral y culmine con los ojos de ambos.

I then proceeded to detail the clothes of both, starting with dark tones and lighter tones, then detail the map, backpack and culminate with the eyes of both.

Dividir el fondo a la mitad, usando el aerógrafo y el color amarillo y azul, después aplique la fuente de Heartstopper y le realice un contorno negro. Para finalizar empecé a colocar las hojitas en varias partes del fondo.

I divided the background in half, using the airbrush and the yellow and blue color, then I applied the Heartstopper font and made a black outline. Finally I started to place the little leaves in various parts of the background.

Adoro mucho como quedo este dibujo, me sentí súper emocionado al momento de terminarlo, sin duda me transmite lo mismo que siento al momento de ver la serie, y me gusta que haya logrado ese toque, además los tonos piel hechos con acuarelas son de las cosas que más noto de esta ilustración, y el acabado del cabello. I love how this drawing turned out, I felt very excited when I finished it, without a doubt it transmits me the same feeling I feel when I watch the series, and I like that I achieved that touch, also the skin tones made with watercolors are the things I notice most in this illustration, and the finish of the hair.
