Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post bastante chévere en el cual les voy a hablar sobre mis personajes favoritos del anime Boku no Hero Academia. Una de las cosas que me motivó hacer este post fue que el manga está tomando un giro increíble a mi parecer, y de verdad me encantaría hablar del desarrollo de muchos personajes que se ganaron mi corazón en este anime. Aunque existen muchísimos tengo bien claro a quienes amo ya que desde la primera vez que aparecieron me cautivaron. Quiero acotar que pondré la historia de cada personaje junto a la descripción de su quirk (poder, peculiaridad o don) acorde a como va en el anime sin tomar muy en cuenta el manga, comencemos!

Hello again! Today I bring you a pretty cool post in which I'm going to talk about my favorite characters from the anime Boku no Hero Academia. One of the things that motivated me to do this post was that the manga is taking an incredible turn in my opinion, and I would really love to talk about the development of many characters that won my heart in this anime. Although there are a lot of them, I have very clear who I love since they captivated me from the first time they appeared. I want to point out that I will put the story of each character along with the description of their quirk (power, peculiarity or gift) according to how it goes in the anime without taking too much into account the manga, let's start!

Un héroe considerado como un prodigio, ya que a sus 22 años y a pesar de ser algo bajito y aparentemente delgado se posiciona en el top 10 de héroes profesionales, siendo el actual número dos. Su nombre es Keigo Takami, cuando tenía 6 años el salvó a toda una familia de un accidente automovilístico y como agradecimiento le financiaron su educación como héroes profesional, además de ser visto por los demás como una promesa. A diferencia de muchos jóvenes que admiraban al héroe número uno All Might, Takami admiraba muchísimo a Endeavor ya que el primero ya era el mejor, pero Endeavor siempre se esforzaba por superar al héroe número uno. Su quirk está en sus características alas que además de darle el don de poder volar, él controla las plumas de las mismas con su mente las cuales tienen bastante fuerza, usándolas para atacar a sus enemigos y salvar a las personas además de tener una gran habilidad sensorial en sus alas, haciendo que pueda detectar movimientos cercanos.
A hero considered a prodigy, since at 22 years old and besides being somewhat short and apparently thin, he is positioned in the top 10 of professional heroes, being the current number two. His name is Keigo Takami, when he was 6 years old he saved an entire family from a car accident and as a thank you they financed his education as a professional hero, besides being seen by others as a promise. Unlike many youngsters who looked up to the number one hero All Might, Takami greatly admired Endeavor as the former was already the best, but Endeavor always strived to surpass the number one hero. His quirk is in his characteristic wings that besides giving him the gift of being able to fly, he controls the feathers of the same with his mind which have enough strength, using them to attack his enemies and save people besides having a great sensory ability in his wings, making him able to detect nearby movements.
Lo malo es que al usar sus plumas sus alas se van volviendo más pequeñas y por ende además de no poder usar bien su habilidad de volar, les toma mucho tiempo en volver a crecer. A los 18 años de edad ya había formado su propia agencia de héroes, había trabajado con el gobierno y ya se posicionaba entre los mejores héroes del país. Aunque Hawks sea uno de los mejores héroes, él se fija mucho en los que están en puestos inferiores ya que a él le gustaría no tener tanto peso encima de ser uno de los primeros héroes y patrullar tranquilamente las ciudades. Una de las muchas cosas que me encanta de él es su personalidad tranquila y que además no tenga miedo de expresar lo que piensa al momento sin importar que los demás estén de acuerdo o no con él, además de que no les voy a mentir, él está muy guapo. Su capacidad para ser un gran héroe, su personalidad y además, su gran afán de querer ayudar a los demás lo hace ser uno de los personajes que más me gustan.
The bad thing is that when they use their feathers their wings become smaller and therefore, besides not being able to use their ability to fly well, it takes them a long time to grow back. Even though Hawks is one of the top heroes, he takes a lot of notice of those in lower positions as he would like to not have so much weight on top of being one of the top heroes and quietly patrolling the cities. One of the many things I love about him is his calm personality and that he also isn't afraid to speak his mind on the spot regardless of whether others agree or disagree with him, plus I'm not going to lie to you, he is very handsome. His ability to be a great hero, his personality and also his eagerness to help others makes him one of the characters I like the most.
All for One me parece un gran villano al igual que Dabi o Shigaraki, sin embargo Toga se ganó mi corazón no solo por ser una gran villana, sino por su peculiar forma de ser. Desde antes de manifestar su quirk ella tenía un extraño gusto por la sangre llegando a preocupar a sus padres, los cuales presionaron a Himiko para que fuese normal. Su quirk es de transformación, ella puede transformarse en otra persona imitando su aspecto físico e incluso su quirk si ingiere la sangre del mismo, mientras más sangre bebe más tiempo puede durar su transformación. Aunque ella daba una actitud aparentemente normal donde sus compañeros la describían como alguien tranquila, todo cambia cuando conoce a un chico que está lleno de golpes y al ver su sangre se siente atraída creyendo que se enamoró, para que luego de unos días lo atacara con un cutter y bebiera su sangre. Luego de esto se convirtió en una fugitiva sospechosa de muchos asesinatos. Ella admira mucho al asesino de héroes llamado Stain y cree firmemente en sus ideales, expresándolo al llegar a la Liga de Villanos.
I think All for One is a great villain as well as Dabi or Shigaraki, however Toga won my heart not only for being a great villain, but also for her peculiar way of being. Since before manifesting her quirk, she had a strange taste for blood, worrying her parents, who pressured Himiko to be normal. Her quirk is of transformation, she can transform into another person imitating her physical appearance and even her quirk if she ingests the blood of the same, the more blood she drinks the longer her transformation can last. Although she gave a seemingly normal attitude where her classmates described her as someone quiet, everything changes when she meets a boy who is full of blows and seeing his blood she feels attracted believing that she fell in love, so that after a few days she attacked him with a cutter and drank his blood. After this she became a fugitive suspected of many murders. She greatly admires the hero-killer named Stain and firmly believes in his ideals, expressing it by joining the Villains League.
Cuando se une a la Liga expresa muchas veces que el estar ahí la ayuda a que el mundo sea más fácil de vivir. Himiko tiene una personalidad infantil ya que sigue siendo una adolescente, posee una manera peculiar de hacer amigas, incluso llegando a decir que Ochaco y Asui a pesar de haberlas atacado, y sentir atracción hacia Deku. Me gusta mucho su personaje porque es muy alegre, sin embargo es muy sádica ya que siente satisfacción cuando asesina a otro, principalmente por su gran gusto por la sangre. Aunque obviamente no estoy nada de acuerdo con sus métodos, me parecen geniales las escenas donde tiene participación, su forma estratégica de pelear me parece increíble y además, demuestra mucha seguridad al copiar a otros con su quirk. Su forma de ser a pesar de estar retorcida, está muy bien construida ya que su normalidad es totalmente diferente a la de los demás por el entorno donde creció, me parece una buena villana y eso me agrada.
When she joins the League she often expresses that being there helps her to make the world easier to live in. Himiko has a childish personality as she is still a teenager, she has a peculiar way of making friends, even going so far as to say that Ochaco and Asui despite having attacked them, and feeling attraction towards Deku. I really like her character because she is very cheerful, however she is very sadistic as she feels satisfaction when she murders another, mainly because of her great taste for blood. Although obviously I don't agree at all with her methods, I find great the scenes where she has participation, her strategic way of fighting seems incredible to me and also, she shows a lot of security when copying others with her quirk. Her way of being despite being twisted, is very well constructed since her normality is totally different from the others because of the environment where she grew up, I think she is a good villain and I like that.
Admito que al principio me gustaba solo por ser lindo y frío, sin embargo al conocer su historia y como ha evolucionado me hace ver que es tremendo personaje. Shoto proviene de una familia cuyo matrimonio está arreglado, su padre es el héroe número dos, Endeavor, el cual arregló un matrimonio con una mujer cuyo quirk es de hielo, y ya que el suyo es de fuego su objetivo era tener un hijo con ambos quirks para vencer a All Might. Luego de haber tenido tres hijos nace Shoto cuyo quirk es manifestar fuego en su lado izquierdo y hielo en su lado derecho, debido a esto desde muy pequeño es entrenado para que su poder se haga cada más fuerte, sin embargo este entrenamiento es tan rudo que incluso el niño llega a vomitar y cada vez que su madre quiere evitar que el entrenamiento dañe a su hijo, Endeavor la maltrata. Su madre llega a un estado mental tan frágil que un día Shoto la asusta y al ver su lado de fuego, le lanza agua hirviendo haciendo que esta fuese internada en un psiquiátrico, ocasionando que Shoto odiara a su padre y jamás usara su fuego.
I admit that at first I liked him just for being cute and cold, however knowing his story and how he has evolved makes me see that he is a tremendous character. Shoto comes from a family whose marriage is arranged, his father is the number two hero, Endeavor, who arranged a marriage with a woman whose quirk is ice, and since his is fire his goal was to have a child with both quirks to defeat All Might. After having three children Shoto is born whose quirk is to manifest fire on his left side and ice on his right side, because of this from very young he is trained so that his power becomes stronger and stronger, however this training is so harsh that even the child vomits and every time his mother wants to prevent the training from harming her son, Endeavor mistreats her. His mother reaches such a fragile mental state that one day Shoto scares her and when she sees his fiery side, she throws boiling water at him, causing her to be committed to a mental institution, provoking Shoto to hate his father and never use his fire.
Shoto crece siendo una persona fría y creída ya que está consciente de su gran poder. Él ingresa a la U.A mediante recomendación y queda en la clase 1-A junto a los demás protagonistas. Todoroki siempre muestra aires de superioridad en cada actividad hasta que llega el festival deportivo. Cuando llega el momento de peleas individuales y está contra Deku, el protagonista le expresa que todos han mostrado su máxima capacidad mientras que Shoto solo muestra la mitad, expresándole que no debe creer que ese poder de su papá sino suyo, haciendo que Shoto use su fuego y sorprende a todos, para que luego del festival quede de segundo lugar ya que debe trabajar para no sentir inseguridad por su fuego. Todoroki es el más demandado por ser tutoreado por los héroes profesionales y decide ir a la agencia de su padre. A partir de ahí él intenta mejorar su relación con él y su madre aunque no es fácil, además de mostrar un gran desarrollo personal, intenta que su pasado no lo atormente e incluso su padre también trata de mejorar. Me encanta Shoto porque es muy orgánico ver como pasa de ser frío, a intentar ser más expresivo y amable con sus amigos, además de que me parece de lo más adorable, te quiero mucho Todoroki.
Shoto grows up as a cold and arrogant person because he is aware of his great power. He enters the U.A. through recommendation and is placed in class 1-A with the other main characters. Todoroki always shows airs of superiority in every activity until the sports festival arrives. When the time comes for individual fights and he is against Deku, the protagonist tells him that everyone has shown their maximum capacity while Shoto only shows half of it, telling him that he should not believe that this power is his father's but his own, making Shoto use his fire and surprises everyone, so that after the festival he is in second place since he must work to not feel insecure about his fire. Todoroki is the most demanded to be tutored by the professional heroes and decides to go to his father's agency. From there he tries to improve his relationship with him and his mother although it is not easy, besides showing a great personal development, he tries not to be tormented by his past and even his father also tries to improve. I love Shoto because it is very organic to see how he goes from being cold, to try to be more expressive and kind to his friends, besides I find him very adorable, I love you very much Todoroki.
Definitivamente uno de mis grandes favoritos por tantas razones, a partir de aquí se me saldrá lo fangirl. Mirio Togata fue inspirado en ser héroe al ser salvado por uno, aunque su camino no sería sencillo. Mirio tiene el quirk de permeabilidad, lo cual le permite hacerse intangible para poder atravesar objetos sólidos, esto incluye la ropa. Es muy difícil dominar ese poder ya que debe aprender a controlar su expulsión de dichos objetos, además de que al ser intangible tampoco la luz, el sonido o incluso el aire llega a su cuerpo por lo que debe controlar su capacidad de oxígeno. Cuando era niño se hizo muy amigo de Tamaki Amajiki y marcó la motivación de Mirio en hacerse más fuerte. Sus compañeros siempre se reían de él ya que al no poder controlar su poder chocaba fácilmente con los objetos, sin embargo Mirio no se rindió jamás y también motivó a su mejor amigo a ser unos grandes héroes. Su esfuerzo fue tal, que cuando llegan a tercer año en la U.A son considerados parte de los "tres grandes" junto con Nejire, que significa que son candidatos a estar en el top 10 de héroes profesionales.
Definitely one of my big favorites for so many reasons, from here on I'll fangirl out. Mirio Togata was inspired to be a hero by being saved by one, although his path would not be easy. Mirio has the permeability quirk, which allows him to become intangible so he can pass through solid objects, this includes clothing. It is very difficult to master this power as he must learn to control his expulsion from such objects, in addition to being intangible neither light, sound or even air reaches his body so he must control his oxygen capacity. As a child he became close friends with Tamaki Amajiki and marked Mirio's motivation to become stronger. His classmates always laughed at him because he could not control his power and he easily collided with objects, however Mirio never gave up and also motivated his best friend to be great heroes. Their effort was such that when they reach their third year at the U.A. they are considered part of the "big three" along with Nejire, which means that they are candidates to be in the top 10 of professional heroes.
Cuando los tres grandes se presentan ante la clase de los protagonistas, Mirio los reta a pelear contra él, sin embargo todos quedan sorprendidos ante la habilidad de Mirio, también consideran que es el más cercano a convertirse en el héroe número uno. Mirio hace equipo con el protagonista Deku gracias a que su maestro Sir Nighteye aceptó a Deku como aprendiz, un día conocen a una niña que sería muy importante y ella es Eri. Ellos intentan salvarla de un villano llamada Kai y luego de una gran pelea lo logran, pero debido a ello Mirio pierde su quirk por una bala destructora de quirks y Sir Nighteye muere debido a las heridas de la pelea. Mirio se dedica a visitar a Eri y cuidarla de vez en cuando con permiso de Aizawa, y logra que Eri por fin sonría al llevarla al festival cultural. Mirio a pesar de no tener quirk tiene un gran alma de héroe. Realmente Mirio me encanta, es un personaje motivador, que trabajó muy duro para estar donde está y tiene mucho carisma, me parece un ser genuinamente gentil y muy heroico, personalmente uno de los mejores a mi parecer.
When the big three appear before the protagonists' class, Mirio challenges them to fight against him, however they are all amazed at Mirio's skill, they also consider him to be the closest to becoming the number one hero. Mirio teams up with the protagonist Deku thanks to his master Sir Nighteye accepting Deku as an apprentice, one day they meet a girl who would be very important and she is Eri. They try to save her from a villain named Kai and after a big fight they succeed, but because of that Mirio loses her quirk by a quirk destroying bullet and Sir Nighteye dies due to the wounds of the fight. Mirio dedicates herself to visiting Eri and taking care of her from time to time with Aizawa's permission, and manages to make Eri finally smile by taking her to the cultural festival. Mirio despite having no quirk has a great hero soul. I really love Mirio, he is a motivational character, who worked very hard to be where he is and has a lot of charisma, he seems to me a genuinely gentle and very heroic being, personally one of the best in my opinion.
Pudiera escribir puros "te amo Kirishima" en esta parte aunque sería exagerar (o no), pero fuera de broma me encanta Kirishima y bueno, les contaré un poco sobre él para luego explicar el por qué de mi gran amor. El quirk de Eijiro es el de endurecimiento, lo cual le otorga la capacidad de endurecer todo su cuerpo sirviéndole tanto de ataque como defensa, lo malo de su quirk es que al usarlo por mucho tiempo le ocasiona daños en la piel. Desde que era niño no controlaba muy bien su don y se lastimaba a él mismo, sin embargo al conocer a un héroe llamado Crimson Riot sintió una gran admiración ya que tenía un poder muy parecido al suyo y que lo que necesitaba era trabajar muy duro para ser un héroe. Aunque él entrenaba mucho era un poco miedoso y eso se demostró en una situación que vivió cuando estaba en la secundaria, ya que vio como unas compañeras estaban siendo atacadas por un villano y no las ayudó porque tenía miedo, pero una chica Mina Ashido la cual era una de sus compañeras le hizo frente. Esto desmotivó a Kirishima ya que consideraba que con cobardía no podía ser un héroe, aunque un día vio una entrevista de su ídolo que decía que aunque el salvaba a muchas personas él a veces sentía miedo, pero le daba más miedo ver el temor de las personas que tiene que salvar.
I could write "I love you Kirishima" in this part although it would be exaggerating (or not), but out of joke I love Kirishima and well, I will tell you a little about him and then explain why I love him so much. Eijiro's quirk is the hardening, which gives him the ability to harden his entire body serving both attack and defense, the bad thing about his quirk is that using it for a long time causes damage to the skin. Since he was a child he did not control his gift very well and hurt himself, however when he met a hero named Crimson Riot he felt a great admiration because he had a power very similar to his own and what he needed was to work very hard to be a hero. Although he trained a lot he was a bit fearful and that was demonstrated in a situation he lived when he was in high school, as he saw how some classmates were being attacked by a villain and did not help them because he was afraid, but a girl Mina Ashido which was one of his classmates stood up to him. This discouraged Kirishima because he considered that with cowardice he could not be a hero, although one day he saw an interview of his idol who said that although he saved many people he sometimes felt afraid, but he was more afraid to see the fear of the people he has to save.
Esto ocasionó que trabajara duro para entrar a la U.A y cuando lo logró cambió su apariencia, pintándose el cabello de rojo como su ídolo. Ahí se reencontró con Mina y se hicieron más cercanos, apoyándose mutuamente. Aquí conoce a los demás estudiantes y se hace amigo de Bakugo, lo cual para mí es admirable porque de verdad ese chico es bastante explosivo (literalmente). A lo largo de la historia vemos como Kirishima va demostrando su poder, y es uno de los que motiva a sus compañeros para salvar a Bakugo de su secuestro a pesar de que eso los metería en problemas. Una de las peleas más increíbles fue junto a su mentor Fatgum contra un villano muy fuerte llamado Rappa, aquí Kirishima demostró que aquel niño cobarde quedó atrás y que está dispuesto a dar la vida para salvar a otros. Eijiro es un personaje que tiene un gran corazón, está dispuesto a proteger a los que quiere, puede llevarse bien con Bakugo que para mí es increíble, motiva mucho a los demás y tiene una sonrisa que hace que le da luz a los días nublados. Tiene un desarrollo muy notable ya que en el pasado era muy inseguro, siendo actualmente un hombre dispuesto a dar la vida por los demás, considero que es un gran personaje y el que irradia mas luz entre la clase U-A. Ah, por si no quedó claro, TE AMO KIRISHIMA.

Here he meets the other students and befriends Bakugo, which to me is admirable because really that kid is really quite explosive (literally). Throughout the story we see how Kirishima is demonstrating his power, and is one of those who motivates his classmates to save Bakugo from being kidnapped even though it would get them in trouble. One of the most incredible fights was with his mentor Fatgum against a very strong villain named Rappa, here Kirishima showed that that cowardly child was left behind and that he is willing to give his life to save others. Eijiro is a character that has a big heart, he is willing to protect those he loves, he can get along with Bakugo who to me is amazing, he motivates others a lot and has a smile that makes brings light to cloudy days. He has a very remarkable development since in the past he was very insecure, being currently a man willing to give his life for others, I consider him to be a great character and the one that radiates more light among the U-A class. Ah, in case it wasn't clear, I LOVE YOU KIRISHIMA.

no he visto aun este anime pero si se que es muy bueno y épico. de igual forma si conozco algunos personajes por cultura general y Toga me parece de los mejores jaja
Sí, es bastante genial! Espero que puedas verlo cuando gustes y si te gusta leer manga mejor todavía. Me acuerdo que antes de ver BNH conocía algunos porque muchos amigos compartían cosas sobre este anime y me llamó la atención y wow, amé a gran parte de sus personajes. Y es verdad, Toga es genial, me encanta su forma de ser aunque sea una villana jajaja me encanta!!

btw First time someone didn't mention this frog girl. Idk why so many people likes her. To me she is kinda annoying.
How cool to know you like those characters too! I wanted to add Bakugo because despite his attitude I like him a lot, maybe in another post I talked about him and All Might. And as for the frog I think the same, I don't dislike her but honestly I don't understand why so much love for her 😂😂😂
