How often is the pawn defended and how often is it attacked? Many of the participants asked themselves this question countless times in fairytale castle chess. It was a matter of transforming one of the pawns into a princess and thus freeing her from the depths of the room. Only 7 participants were able to face the task and, as so often, the rating in normal chess was confirmed this time as well. No matter how the pieces are placed, the stronger players stay at the top of the table. But this also proves that this type of chess is not a junk but can certainly promote the strategic mindset. Anyway, I had a lot of fun!

Wie oft ist der Bauer verteidigt und wie oft ist er angegriffen? Diese Frage stellten sich wohl viele der Teilnehmer unzählige Male beim märchenhaften Burgenschach. Dabei galt es einen der Bauern zur Prinzessin zu verwandeln und sie damit aus den Tiefen des Raumes zu befreien. Nur 7 Teilnehmer konnten sich der Aufgabe stellen und wie so oft wurde die Wertungszahl im normalen Schach auch diesmal bestätigt. Egal wie die Figuren plaziert sind, die stärkeren Spieler bleiben in der Tabelle oben. Damit ist aber auch bewiesen dass diese Art von Schach kein Schmarrn ist sondern durchaus die strategische Denkweise fördern kann. Ich hatte jedenfalls viel Spaß!
