In his 11th tournament win this year, Magnus Carlsen won the Champions Chess Tour beating Ian Nepomniatchi 4-1. The finals was sort of a rematch between the two as Ian challenged Magnus for the World Title in 2021 which ended 7.5-3.5 for Magnus.

The Champion's Chess Tour is chess.com's most important event. It comprises four events and one live in-person Final. With the very best players in the world and a $1.7 million prize fund. Magnus Carlsen won the CCT ever since it started in 2020. This is his fifth CCT win.
