Binge on This - Beforeigners: Timetravel Police Parody from Norway
Featured Author: @stortebeker
I always love checking out foreign TV-shows. Puzzling out the cultural differences usually makes up for having to rely on the subtitles to understand the dialogues. What may be strange and quirky in one culture could be completely common in another, and vice versa. However, there are scenarios, and interpretations of scenarios, where it's completely impossible to know for sure: Are they for real? Or is this supposed to be a joke??? The Norwegian series Beforeigners is probably the best example for such an interesting cultural experience.
Portugal: Northern beaches turn into GOLD...Braga & Viana do CasteloFeatured Author: @vindiesel1980
Today a little story about an area that I traveled recently. A little part of the Northern Portuguese coastline. Traveling solo during October, wasn't too bad. It could feel lonely, although on the other side you can take you own speed and do whatever you want. After saying goodbye at the airport of Porto and an intense busy day in downtown Porto and around Braga, it was time to slow down and enjoy the coast again. The only plan, follow the ocean and try to find the nicest spots.
Discovering Florence: A Charming Encounter in the Heart of the CityFeatured Author: @ilmaffeiano78
Hello friends, how are you? I hope you've started this new year on a positive note. I extend my best wishes for the new year, albeit a bit late. Let's say this new year hasn't started in the best way for me because I had a small accident with the car, but fortunately, nothing serious.
However, today I want to tell you about something I did towards the end of last year, something beautiful because I don't want to dwell on the negative things that have happened to me lately. I went to visit a dear aunt of mine who practically lives in Florence.
Tortellini, tortelloni, ravioli vs.tomato broth / Italian kitchen failedFeatured Author: @alt3r
For some, the celebration is done, for others, it is just beginning; in reality, when it comes to traditional holidays, we belong to the group that sits on two chairs (we celebrate whoever likes what).
Except for Christmas, which never changes its date and is one of the most treasured holidays, one of those holidays who are usually accompanied by the most exquisite meals. The food marathon in our house started right before the New Year's Eve, and it's still going on.
Chasing Waterfall and Hidden Pools!
Featured Author: @callmesmile
It was a bright sunny day when we set off for a river adventure. I have been eyeing this long river located in the neighboring town that is just 3 barangays away from my place. The river has stayed in my mind for so long by the time I took a glimpse of it. Though I only had less expectation of this river however I silently wished that somehow the river had hidden waterfalls or big lakes that would be revealed before my eyes.
