Greetings and happy day to all.
Today I will leave over here, images of a process for a work I have done this week.
There will be three works that with the same size, materials and support I will do, as I make them I will share them here.
This work I have made it in canvas cardboard of 30 x 40 centimeters, using for the drawing, graphite pencil 6B and black ink to reinforce the edges.
The work describes an aerial landscape, it has areas of yellow and red lands, areas of green forests and a very blue and wide lagoon.
To paint the work, after drawing I used very pasty colors, to achieve this technique I use transparent gesso to which I add water paints, so I give strength, color and texture at the same time.
I dispersed the colors in each area and waited for them to dry naturally, it is not advisable to hurry the drying process because the colors can crackle.
When they are dry to the touch, apply to each color a new layer, this time very diluted in water, this to achieve a good atmosphere and in turn, erase all the marks left by the brush and expose the background.
Some of the colors I shaded again, this is to achieve shadows and volume and as at the beginning I defined the edges with black ink, I didn't need to highlight them, I just closed them with color.
I usually add oxides to the colors beforehand, I have been using this technique for many years, this way I get excellent textures.
At the end, with black and white I added the details typical of my work, they are common in my work, they are dots, lines and circles, resembling people, trees, ports and birds' eyes.
As I wrote at the beginning, this is the first of three works that I will do this month of March, I hope that as I publish them they will be to the liking of those who can observe them.
