Un atardecer entre sombras, notas y gratitud en el Fortín de La Galera en Juan Griego [ESP-ENG]

Hola amigos de @hivemargarita ¿Cómo están? ¿Cómo están pasando su semana? por este lado estamos bien gracias a Dios.

Hoy quiero compartirles un pedacito de mi alma. Volví a uno de mis lugares favoritos en la isla de Margarita, el Fortín de La Galera, en Juan Griego. Cada vez que tengo la oportunidad de visitarlo, no puedo evitar sentir una profunda gratitud. Es un sitio que me conecta con recuerdos hermosos, con la historia, con la belleza de mi tierra y con Díos.

Aproveché que debía llevar a mi hija a un ensayo especial de dos horas para su clase de lírico en teatro Cultural Larez Granado de Juan Griego, ya que se presenta este sábado en el Cascanueces y sin pensarlo dos veces, tomé rumbo al fortín. Esta vez fui sola, algo poco común, ya que casi siempre voy con mis hijos. Me perdí un poco en el camino, lo reconozco jajajaja y eso hizo que no alcanzara a ver el atardecer desde lo alto como tanto me gusta. A las 6:00pm ya estaba todo oscuro. Pero incluso así, el cielo tenía su encanto, las luces, las sombras, la brisa… todo era mágico.

Logré tomar algunas fotos con el celular, capturando lo poco que quedaba de la luz de la tarde. Desde lo alto se veía la playita de Juan Griego y playa la Galera ese mar que nunca deja de sorprenderme. Pero lo más especial fue encontrarme con el señor Iván Fuentes, un músico que toca el saxofón justo allí, en ese lugar tan especial. Su música era el fondo perfecto para ese momento. En otras oportunidades lo he conseguido ahí con su música, pero recuerdo la última vez no lo ví, hoy me aclaro que los días que no está ahí son los días domingos y lunes y creo recordar que la última vez que fui era domingo

Fue un instante de esos que se quedan grabados en el corazón. Aunque no vi el atardecer como otras veces, viví una experiencia distinta, igual de hermosa. Y eso es lo que más me gusta de este lugar que siempre tiene algo nuevo que ofrecer, una emoción distinta, un regalo inesperado. Gracias, Dios, por permitirme estar aquí una vez más.

Today I want to share a little piece of my soul with you. I returned to one of my favorite places on Margarita Island, the Fortín de La Galera, in Juan Griego. Every time I have the opportunity to visit it, I can't help but feel a deep sense of gratitude. It's a place that connects me with beautiful memories, with history, with the beauty of my land, and with God.

I took advantage of the fact that I had to take my daughter to a special two-hour rehearsal for her drama class at the Larez Granado Cultural Theater in Juan Griego, as she is performing in The Nutcracker this Saturday, and without thinking twice, I headed for the fort. This time I went alone, which is unusual, as I almost always go with my children. I got a little lost on the way, I admit, ha ha ha, and that meant I didn't get to see the sunset from the top, which I love so much. By 6:00 p.m., it was already dark. But even so, the sky had its charm, the lights, the shadows, the breeze... everything was magical.

I managed to take some photos with my cell phone, capturing what little remained of the afternoon light. From above, I could see Juan Griego beach and La Galera beach, that sea that never ceases to amaze me. But the most special thing was meeting Mr. Iván Fuentes, a musician who plays the saxophone right there, in that very special place. His music was the perfect backdrop for that moment. I have seen him there playing his music on other occasions, but I remember not seeing him the last time I was there. Today, I realized that he is not there on Sundays and Mondays, and I think I remember that the last time I went was a Sunday.

It was one of those moments that remain etched in your heart. Although I didn't see the sunset like other times, I had a different experience, just as beautiful. And that's what I like most about this place, which always has something new to offer, a different emotion, an unexpected gift. Thank you, God, for allowing me to be here once again.
