WEDNESDAY WALK: A Walk around town

in Wednesday Walk3 years ago

Today was really fun and my first post on the #Wednesdaywalk. I'm not really one that like walking around especially during sunny days but I did it because of this challenge and I really enjoyed it. I have been at home since morning, I had an appointment with one photographer who I gave a friend's photo for enlargement. I used this medium to take the photos as I walk through

My Wednesday walk cover some areas in the commercial city of Aba, Abia state of Nigeria. The road here is always congested due to the heavy crowd and business that thrives here.

I took a tricycle that is going to the Park but I stopped halfway so I can get a detailed photos. When I came down and start taking photos on the traffic the first man that appeared in the photo don't know what I was doing and he needed a hand to help him carry the bag on the floor
IMG_20220219_174132~2.jpg I took my photos and get to where he was, helped him out and continue my journey. This is a hill side and at the base of the hill is a bridge that connects the two local government.
IMG_20220219_174314~2.jpg I have to move fast and get out of the bridge cause it's risky being on the bridge before a trailer fails break and hit me. I went down to a more calm street and a church in this area caught my attention. It's a branch of the living word church they're popularly known for their university 'Rhema University' one of the best private institution in the town

This street is always calm unlike other streets around. Some road users do divert here when there's a heavy traffic though it's a long way for them but it's always free most of the time

I took this route so I can walk without distraction from cabs and trailers when taking my photos. And this place seems high where I can get a clearer view of the city from the back here. There's a mechanic village along this axis and a kiosk where they sell native herbs. From here I can get the image of the ogbor hill areas clear.

Since I have decided to walk through to the park I took a diversion through the Harrison crescents and burst out to a pharmacy shop where I stopped by to buy 'lornart DS' a malaria drug. I needed so I used this opportunity to buy it from the pharmacy shop
IMG_20220219_180618~2.jpg I quickly rush to the park cause I have someone there already waiting for me. I called and he came down and brought the work to me as he was about going already. It's an enlargement photo that I wanted to gift to a friend as a surprise. I can't open the picture there so I followed him up to his shop where I opened to go through the work and it was really beautiful

I already told you this is a commercial city and always congested. From up there you can tell there's a lot of activities going on so I decided to take the photo below

IMG_20220219_184749~2.jpg I had to transfer his balance to him and start going home before the traffic gets more serious as it was getting dark already.
