Isso me faz refletir que, se houvesse uma disciplina que ensinasse isso na escola, talvez os jovens fossem mais preparados para identificar notícias falsas, por exemplo, evitar cair em golpes e, até mesmo, proteger a saúde mental do impacto negativo que acontece pelo uso das redes muitas vezes.

Imagine um adolescente que cresce exposto a esse ambiente sem qualquer preparo. Quantos não desenvolvem ansiedade por causa da pressão para manter uma vida “perfeita” no Instagram? Quantos não caem em armadilhas, expondo informações pessoais sem perceber os riscos? Esse tipo de conhecimento deveria ser básico, assim como aprendemos a dirigir antes de pegarmos um carro na estrada.

A internet está cheia de perigos reais.

Mas é claro que sempre há o outro lado da moeda. Se uma disciplina dessas fosse implantada, surgiriam debates sobre o que deveria ou não ser ensinado. Acredito que ensinar sobre redes sociais nas escolas seria uma grande evolução. Poderia ajudar a evitar problemas, preparar melhor os jovens e até reduzir o impacto negativo na saúde mental deles. Claro que tudo precisaria ser bem estruturado, com profissionais capacitados e um conteúdo relevante, mas vejo muito mais vantagens do que desvantagens.
