I remember how my parents would always say how they used just 600 naira to cook a very delicious and rich pot of soup is the early 2000's, "Those days the country was good"as they said...
In recent times about a year ago, the prices of goods and services in my country, Nigeria increased exorbitantly.
Before I move further, I want to establish a clear definition of inflation.
"Inflation simply means an increase in the overall onetary value of goods and services over a period of time, usually, one year."
During inflation, money or should I say, currency slowly loses value as the amount you used to purchase a particular product earlier is not sufficient to purchase it in the now.
For example, you bought a motorcycle for 300,000 naira a hear ago. Now, the same motorcycle costs 750,000 naira.
So, of you were earning let's say 250,000 naira monthly as an oil company worker, you could purchase a motorcycle in two months but in the case of inflation, it would take you about 4-5 months to purchase the same.
It can also lead to downsizing in some companies who cannot meet up with the high cost of raw materials and the paying of their workers that they would have to layoff some of them.
People begin to suffer, working extra hard to meet up with the high cost of living.
Although there are so many factors that can cause inflation in a country, the situation itself can be created and manipulated by more powerful nations or global organisations on a country for the sole aim of dominance and profit.
Bad governance and mismanagement of the country's resources is among the top factors that cause inflation.
In the case where some of our leaders are not meticulous when handling economic matters in the country. Sometimes, they leave the major decisions to their advisors who seize the opportunity to bring in their selfish interests and before they realise it, the whole system is in chaos.
A contributing factor to this is when these elitist global organisations make draconian laws and make leaders of nations implement such laws in their nations without these leaders knowing fully well what they are signing up for.
This is how a lot of nations were decimated during the covid-19 fiasco.
These global organisations seek to have a one world economy and they launch their attacks on Asian amd African countries because they are very strong amd hardworking.
For example, in Africa, they work to devalue the currency of a particular country like our beloved Nigeria and after, Nigerians keep working to build back the economy, start rising little by little amd boom when they see we are trying to get back on our feet, they hit again...
This has gone on for several years....

So a lot of times, it's not that the country isn't making progress, it is, but these globalists are sworn to make the country difficult.
The solution to this is for the Leaders to wake up and own up to their mistakes.
They should be bold to make the right decision for their nations and cities.
Also, we can help by keeping hope alive and praying for our country and leaders. Infact, this is the most important of all as we keep on doing our daily work and businesses.
Till next time beautiful soul... ❤️❤️

With bad governance and mismanagement of the Nation's resources, it is difficult for countries to escape inflation. However, when they desire change and work towards it with effective laws and diligent leaders, there will surely be a substantial positive change.
Very well said.
That's why we need to be educating our young leaders and public on this.
