So, last Saturday we had our hangout as usual, and it was just so much fun we did not want it to end. We are currently on the first topic for this week which is “NEWS ON THE HOUR”. But before we proceed with the details of the topic, let us take a look at the winners of the last topic which was “TEXTING DO’S AND DON’TS”.

This topic was geared toward each member of the community telling us about their likes and dislikes when it came to texting. They told us about the things they could condone and the ones that will always piss them off.

We got to see the level of endurance people exhibit when they chat with someone, and we also got to see what crossed the line for many of them. Texting is different for everyone, we approach it differently. Which is why it’s good to show some courtesy when texting people.

This author told us that she tried her best not to be too rigid when it came to texting. Without much rules with regards to texting, it’s easy to flow with just about everyone. However, she also has her limit like everyone else, she has things that she would never condone if they were done to her.

For this author, he also has some things he would prefer people didn’t do when chatting with him. He’s not a big-time texter, but when he does chooses to text, he prefers to keep it clean and straight to the point. Beating about the bush and bringing in personal problems will most likely piss him off.

For this author, politeness is a big deal when it comes to texting. He’s also not a time-waster, prefering to go straight to the point than those who keep delaying. Also being objective when texting is something that he’s all for as well. All in all, respect must be observed even when communication is via text.
