And here comes the night whispering with her sweet tender seductive and appealing voice, "sleep" "sleep" "sleep" for you have had enough rumble all through the day.... How can one ignore such beautiful sensation and temptations calling from the land of optimum benefits DREAM... Hmmm
Well it takes more than an ordinary person so surmount the temptations that the night rest brings, and have you wondered this, IF YOU PLAN TOWARDS GETTING THE MOST OUT OF THE NIGHT, THAT IS WHEN YOU SLEEP HITS THE MOST. I don't know about others but i can speak for myself, reading at night carries more temptation than during day reading... Book is a sleep therapy if you may know tested and proven especially in children
As a student i rarely bother myself to go through the night reading because in the end it will become a waste of planning for me because this sleep comes at the exact time i planned on studying. Not one,two or even five occasions but countless to say so it forced me to cultivate the habit of reading during day (my school days though). But sometimes it can be lack of discipline or sometimes result of tiredness from the day activities, either ways i believe anyone can still beat it because i did
Over the years, i cultivated the habit of staying up late as a result of work reasons because our electrical supplier (NEPA) as you all may know it decided to take their bringing time to late in the night and sometimes before i wake up they've probably taken the light so i learnt to get the most from it by staying up late also. I do most of my work at night (Mobile repair), also do enough of my ironing and lastly put my phone on charge when it's time for me to sleep
At first it wasn't easy though as I'll find myself even sleep walking or working but with time it started getting use to me and the major reason is because i always have my hands on something, my brain is calculating, my body is moving. Now these online activities can take longer or shorter depends on when the lights will go off. So if it goes off before planned I'll have to enter my net and do the little i can and before you know it boom my head had hit the pillow and it's dawn already because i wasn't moving my body freely enough
There's a good side and a downside to this very act though, the day you are working it's going to be very beneficial and you will happily go through your activities. But when you don't have anything doing and nature wants to prove to you that she can not be cheated you will stay up for hours without doing anything reasonable and when you finally get the rest it will be a shorter sleep in result, so we can call it a two sided sword
Aside those, the night is one of the most peaceful time to get your things done but if faced with hunger you may regret staying up. So what do i do sometimes (you can adopt), i get little snacks to take me through the night. Heavy food are not advised because of health sake, some of my night meal / snacks may look funny to you but i love it. People around often ask if I'm a baby for some kind of food I eat sometimes but....I don't give a care

You are right, for someone to stay awake he or she most avoid heavy food, bro, I try eating heavy food one day, am telling you, the whole body was also heavy like the food, I couldn't wake up that day and I was having something serious to do, that was how I missed it.
The human body is not designed to cheat nature, you must satisfy one to dissatisfy another. That's why we have time for enjoyable meals

Staying up at night to work is really not easy but if we continue to practice it, we may master it. It is natural for our bodies to demand for some rest at that time. But if we have important tasks to meet up with, we would be left with no option than to go against nature a little bit.
