My perception on wages equality in modern system of economy

While growing we all had our preferred carrer but we all wanted a well paying job, I mean nobody ever wishes to become a scavenger or an hunter, we all wanted something we really have passion for and at the same pays us good.

Even though we are in a world where people preach about equality, but it has never been applicable.
Wages inequality has been in existence since the invention of money and this has really affected lives in the olden days because it leaves hard workers cheated as the rich take all for themselves.

But the question Is it really possible for all workers in a to earn same wage or salary be it private or government owned?

- My perception

The world has become so unbalanced and it is of belief that the poor keeps getting poorer and rich are getting more wealthier as long as human keeps existing.
Talking about equity generally there has never been equity in every aspect of life, applicable to places of worship, banks, service centre, government agencies and so where rich customers will be giving a preference treatment over the others.
This takes me back to some years back when I work in a finance organization owned by a private individual, there were several vacant position because it was a new firm.

On the day of interview we were many that came and fortunately for me I was employed with some other applicants, I already spent up to six months before I knew I was collecting the least salary, I mean we all had same qualification and we all work equal bulkiness of work, I was surprised and I knew it was based on favourism, all of them were female as I was the only male among them. Thank God for another job offer that came which made me quit the previous one.

This method will bring a lot of positive changes to a nation only if adopted successfully and applicable to everyone. Imagine a world where everyone receives same income, there won't be need for competition because we all have to spend judiciously as we all have same purchasing power.

This will then eventually create an even world, no intimation or oppression. Oppression is the major cause of crimes and unbalanced in a nation, Nigeria as an instance: is currently undergoing inflation where the average and poor citizens are suffering, the only reason being that the leaders earns more than citizen. If it were to be that everyone receives same income, the situation of the economy would have been better because we will all have to deal with it, but it's otherwise.

- What are the setbacks

Well, even though it seems achievable, it also brings some disavantages to a nation in the sense that the desire for professionalism in every career will be a discouragement in as much we all receive the same wages or salary what will be the essence of going extra mile to attain some skills.

This also would cause retardation in the economy because no one will want to put extra effort in the achieving of objectives of each organization which would tell on the economy at the end of the day.
