Little but smart

So many times, have asked myself if the children born these days are adults and not kids because the level of intelligence they display is from another realm and not ours or probably they've lived a hundred years somewhere else before coming to our world.😉 So now tell me why a child of three to four months knows what's music or television? Whenever am through with whatever am doing or close from work, I always like going to my uncle's house to help the wife carry the baby since our house is just few blocks away from each other. am so obsessed with new born but not when they start to crawl because of the disturbance pro max.🤣 So when she was three to four months old we noticed how attracted she was to the television to the extent that when she's crying, we just go straight to the TV to switch it on or play a song for her and she begins to move her legs to dance or fixing her attention to the screen we were like so this baby knows movies and songs.

We also nicknamed her after my grandma because she does stuffs like am old woman. Fast forward to when she was two years, I decided to play a trick on her to know if she's gonna fall for it but she beats my imagination. I brought out a thousand note and one hundred note respectively and asked her to pick one, could you imagine she picked the one thousand naira note but to me I guessed it was just her luck so I again took five hundred note and three notes of ten naira hoping she would pick the three ten naira notes but again she chose the five hundred. By this time I knew she really knows what she was doing.

Aside my uncle's child, I have seen so many kids display a level of smartness and all I can say God is great. Here in my country, we always see those kids attending a public school also known as government school as dullard. And you won't actually blame us looking at the school system how some of the students and teachers operate. But then I had a change of ideology when I was in my junior secondary school (JSS 1). It was just two week to our 1 continuous assessment test (c.a.test) when we had a new comer we didn't expect her to participate in the test as she came late but anyways she joined us and wrote the text. Well she did just fine and teachers were impressed with her performance. Fast forward to when we wrote our exams, this girl was the one toping the whole class and her average mark was nothing compared to ours not even the guy that came second. That was when I learned not to judge a book by its cover until I know the content of the book. I started respecting other kids from public school because most of them it is just condition that made them find their self in the school not that they like it there.

Recently I watched on one of the social media platform where a woman went to pick her child from school and on their way back a random guy stopped the mom to ask her questions but then she said she won't be able to play the game even when it has a price to be won. But then the child told her mom she can attempt the question to the point the mom was doubting her ability and the little girl assured her mom not to worry. To her mom and the audience surprise, she answered all the questions and her mom was in disbelief her child could attempt what she couldn't. Honestly after the girl answered those questions I went back to Google the answers so whenever am asked same question I will also win for myself some cash price. 🤣

Absolutely true. When we were children, we weren't as sharp and quick-witted as the children of today. Nowadays, kids are using technology, engaging with social media apps, and their observation skills are much more developed. Their conversations often leave us amazed.

Your right, I think technology is the reason why kids are smart cause what so ever is bothering them all they need to do is to search the internet.
