An idle mind, they say, is the devil's workshop. When a person becomes idle, the mind begins to imagine unthinkable things that, when you look back, you wonder where they came from.
The human mind is a very complex machine that uses the information we expose ourselves to as a basis upon which our thoughts are formed.
We become what we see, hear, and can physically interact with, so you see people talk based on the level of their exposure and what they are exposed to.
Guard your heart with all diligence, for out of it proceed the issues of life, says the holy Bible.
This, however, doesn't stop the mind from wandering about when we are bored. Boredom is that state where a person's mind no longer finds anything within their physical surroundings interesting.
These days I really get bored because I am always working on something after I learned what is possible through an idle mind.
Once upon a time when I was much younger, I wanted to buy a football, but I couldn't ask my parents because I knew they wouldn't get it, and then one day while I was doing nothing, an idea popped into my head.
So the next time I went to school, I decided to gamble so that I could quickly multiply the money and get my football.
I decided to use the money with which I was supposed to get lunch to bet on a table tennis game simply because I was one of the best players in school at the time.
That was how I lost that money on the bet, and in the end, both my lunch and the football were gone like a flash.
Because I was idle, a thought came, and I acted upon it, and I lost both lunch and the football I wanted to buy.
These days the story is different because I try to get my hands busy with what I can while I can. It's either I am reading a book, trying to work on a phone or laptop, or rehearsing a song, or I am out trying to beautify an event venue.
Thanks for stopping by.

The human mind can't be left idle, it was designed to always have something (thoughts and ideas) running in it. It's either you consciously use it or it wander off by itself.
Conscious use of the mind backed with actions I would say is the difference between productive and unproductive people
